Warren knows a lot about Mickey Mouse, not just as a fan, but academically as well. I'm definitely positive that he knows what he's doing. I have a feeling that Epic Mickey will be quite "epic" indeed. ;)

I remember watching the old Disney shows in the 90's, before all this Hannah Montana and That's So Raven crap. This game could help redeem Disney of their sins over the past eight years.

Epic Mickey looks like it'll be incredible. I know it may creep some people out, but I think it looks amazing. But, I'll save judgment until I've played it myself.

This reminds me of Kingdom Hearts during this time and Mickey Mania back in the 90s where Mickey was like you said an action hero. Nice to know they're bringing Mickey back to his natural roots.

Because they want to put Mickey Mouse so much famous in the world of the videogames, such as Mario and Sonic. They want to put Mickey in a new ways to see him, as a hero with more aggressive attitude, and make him EPIC.

And because Disney wants more money, and this game seems that it's going to be a big success .

Watch some of the older cartoons, Mickey always was an action hero.

That angle of him was forgotten, the game wants to remind us of it.

All in all, the game looks like it'll gush old school style.

Well the game IS done by Square Enix and the Final Fantasy characters only play small cameo roles in the KH games. After all...it was that unique combination of Square Enix and Walt Disney that got people interested in that game in the first place. Let's see you get whacked by a giant bladed metal key and see how you wake up in the morning. ;)

Did you even play the game all the way through? Because if you did, you'd understand why the Keyblade is shaped like a key. If you did, you'd know that there isn't just one design or form of the Keyblade. I just don't get what it is about KH that you hated. Is it because you were expecting blood, cussing, or violence? Or perhaps you were expecting a very dark and serious storyline. Or perhaps you're like most people who immediately thought the game was "gay" just because it had Disney elements.

listen, i have played KH, and personaly i never liked it. and no, I like disney. (in fact, disney is something that i grew up with and respect.)

the game just never clicked to me. I can't really explain to you why I'm not a Kingdom Hearts fan but I just look at it and wish that it would be a little more serious and a little more dark. (one of my top 5 reasons why I am looking foward to Epic Mickey.)

It's cool that you like it, nothing wrong with that, but I am just not a fan of KH.

I'll be honest with you, I'm personally disappointed with Epic Mickey's style just by seeing the screenshots and reading about it in Game Informer. I thought it would be MUCH darker and actually creepy based on the early concept art and pictures that surfaced the web a while back. :/

KH1 showed the potential these two franchises had together, a potential that was squandered in favor of a less than inspiring shonen story.

And I like AC dubbed. :) Sure the syncing was off, but the characters didn't sound gad-awful.

@SmashBroDx Yeah, Disney has always had dark stuff lol. People just dont pay attention to it. Almost every classic disney movie, if not (all), were dark. Snow white was a really dark movie. Yeah, the classic movies were good, but they were dark with a "good" ending.
