Wow! What a piece of crap! My weedeater has more power than that car does. To think the poor folks in East Germany had to drive one of those things for 35 years. That engine. Listen to it purr! One had to floor the accelorater in order to reverse it out of the driveway. It smoked like it was on fire to boot.

@bagelboi66 - As a matter of fact, my weedeater might have 26 HPs. It most definitely has better fuel efficiency and performance than a Trabant. I find it amazing that a person in the former DDR had to wait 10 years to get theirs on back order.

@asgi99 : no, I'm not what you'd call "brand loyal". I buy whatever car works for me whatever the brand is. Unfortunately only Ford and GM make the style of car I like... wait!... scrap that. They USED to make the kinds of cars I like (which is why the GM car I drive is 25 years old). Now they make cars that are about the size of those communist piles of shit which you need a shoe-horn to get in and out of, thanks to the environmentalist leftists in the Western world who destroyed the industry.
