@MoldytoasterMedia You CANNOT deposit Ally Funds in a non-Ally (any) ATM. So either transfer from existing and redundant account OR SNAIL-MAIL Deposit...check or money order only. No fees at Ally...so what if you still have to pay them elsewhere? NOTE: We are Ally Customer Care...There are 3 ways to deposit: 1) Transfer electronically from another bank once that account is registered w/us;2) Send a check by mail and we will deposit it in account; 3) Wire transfer to Ally Bank from another
I think it is awesome that you can have a $0 minimum deposit... what are you saving for with no money? To take advantage of a high yield savings like Ally - its best to have money in your account, right?
How come it is 1.29%? It is only .84%...

Just seems like a pointless waste of time, energy, money and STRESS (depending on snailmail) ... JUST TO MAKE A DEPOSIT

But how the heck do you deposit money unless you ALREADY HAVE an account from another bank? You can't live by Ally alone?
