@supermandy667 Nightwish has many, many times said that they are NOT a gothic band. Actually, imho, calling Nightwish a gothic band is like calling a genious a mediocre... They are so much more. :)

The lyrics, the melodies, using symphonic methods etc. makes NW a very original and special. One cannot categorise their style.

I just have to say this, but I have seen a hell lot of movies though my life, and a lot of them are oscar winning films, cult classics and all kinda smart films which is all classifyed to be some of the greatest movies ever. but still i have never seen anything like the Lord of the rings movies or read anything alike the books. I love Tolkien and I love how well Peter Jackson made the movies. Its both in its own class and nothing can compare. Its simply timeless

I'm also used to see LOTR combined with glorious battle music, or mysterious 'elven choir' music to the more silent parts. But funny enough, I think Ghost Love Score's very dramatic and orchestral tunes fits LOTR perfectly. I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Nightwish, but this song truely touches my heart.
