Vekoma sucks ass. They make cheap unoriginal rides. The flying dutchmans are there only good rides. Vekoma give you a headache. B&M is by far the best coaster makers out there.

i luv Vekoma i opperate a Vekoma Boomerang Coaster in new jersey its my baby LOL ne way i think they have improved alot on safety n concepts n tryin 2 stay in competion wit B&M n intermin but i think there gonna b around a long time cuz theres still sum small parks that probally can't afford or doesn't have enough room 4 a B&M or an Intermin coaster vekoma most of there coasters arn't huge or take up much space n there very affordable so i like vekoma:)

they didnt mention that vekoma has some of the roughest rides in the world. and there not very safe. there are 2 vekoma roller coasters at carowinds. and BOTH of them have had safety problems and accidents. one is even closed now. their rides are also EXTREMELY unreliable. they break down almost everyday!

@tHeAkEr225 Actually that is Xpress at walibi world, which is just a slightly smaller scale than the actual RNRC's. RNRC's have been scaled up a small fraction because of the heavier trains from all of the audio equipment onboard.

I think Vekomas coasters would do better it they made the tracks direction shifts a little more carried out......giving time for the train to snap into its new directional position....also they need to get rid of the flange through pad breaks.......flange through tire stop breaks are much more smother with no abrupt pulsating....and tire breaks are very silent.....unlike haring the padded breaks clank clank sound........come on Vekoma....

well intamin has some disasters as well on their name...like The Indiana Jones Rollercoaster(disney), Bob coaster and Pegasus( Efteling)..Vekoma's latest coasters are much smoother, and i think Vekoma is very creative and improving..

if we still had a Six Flags in The Netherlands (now Walibi World) we would have had 1 too... the announced it in 2004. But then in 2005 it became walibi and they started focusing on making a family park.... now (i think) the park pretty much sucks. good coasters, but a lot of cool rides r gone now... (just like the plans for a cliffhanger)

I think it's because the way the trains are HANGING from the track that causes the track to wear faster.

Guide wheels get worn out too. B&M's wheels are alot better quality hence B&M's don't get rough as fast. Although Vortex at Great Am I hear is pretty rough for a Beemer.

I never knew wheel quality made such a difference. At Great America its weird because Invertigo, made by Vekoma, is super smooth while Vortex, a B&M, is really rough and gives big headaches.

Some of the stuff they say is total crap. Intamin & B&M make the world's best rides. Some of the Boomerangs are decent, though (if Vekoma makes the trains!). The Flying Dutchman also looks cool.

LSM looks like a good launch, but only OK after.

Hammerhad looks interesting, but why are the cars rotated to face forward?
