I myself have a spiritual relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary. She's my spiritual mother and i have a good feeling that she's watching over me and to protect me from any spiritual danger.
in Isaiah(42:1) 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
So there is no more obvious statement than this one. As God has clarified this truth that he is a slave of God and God has placed his spirit on him to support him like the other prophets.
