@eragon1518 Dude, you are so right. I live in the nearby concrete jungle of Baltimore and where the hell can we 4-wheel around here. I just bought a 2011 Xterra Pro 4x and I want my new little honey out in the shit!
@on49st Shrockworks makes the front and rear bumpers and the sliders and skids. There is a mild lift in the video, but now I have a bigger lift 3" SL and 2" BL
Nice X! That's pretty impressive for an IFS rig. You had some trouble on that first part, I could see you lifting the driver's front, but you walked up that 2nd part pretty well. That's why I like the SFA in my Grand Cherokee, I'd have kept all 4 on the ground w/no problem on that first part, and walked right up it w/no wheelspin. But either way, that 2nd part looks challenging.
Its got a rear locker. In that video, it had only a 2" suspension lift. It now has a 3" suspension lift from a Titan, and a 2" body lift. The front and rear bumpers, as well as the sliders and skids are from Shrockworks.
AT KO's are great...those look like the stock tires in the vid...
I just bought a 2009 Offroad. I saw your shrock gear on yours. I was wondering if there was any danger with these relating to the airbags. I was wondering if it mattered? The ARB mentions it as plus to their design. Do you know anything else about these issues?
Hi there, great upgrades and looks perfect. That is exactly what I plan on doing to my 08 X Off Road. Can you please put up a video or send my pics of your Xterra with the Two inch lift now. I wanna do that to mine, but I have not seen any at all with the 2in" lift. I would appreciate it.
They are ment for different things though. An Escape is a grocery getter, and that is all it can ever be. You don't buy an truck for fuel economy. I can't wait to pick up an XTERRA, it probably gets better mileage than the other vehicles I drive!
What lift do you have? how big is it? Thax just got my pro for x with a ARB front bumper now I wana lift it a lil nice video!

Doesn't yours have the ABLS? If so you shouldn't of had any problems with a wheel spinning.

You did good there but we both need lockers in the rear. I plan to add one soon. Like your bumper. What kind is it? Are you running any lift?

@roynash It has the rear locker, otherwise it would not go past the first barrier.
Right rear and front left both were loose and I don't think ABLS is capable enough to handle situation like this.

It was in 4 wheel drive. If you watch closely, you will see dust rising up from the driver's front tire, when it begins to slip.

time for some better tires

BFG AT KOs are one of the better tires made. I have since traded up to the 33" BFGs from the 32".

The crash sensors are not affected by the addition of the Shrock front bumper.

It has a rear locker. I didn't really need to use it on that obstacle, though.

God that is awful...i am looking at the escape

The escape is hardly a truck though, just a tall awd car.

Maybe remove your rear sway bar
aggaghdassda 3 years ago
Yeah, I intend to remove the rear sway - once I get long-travel shocks.
AzTed 3 years ago
I have a 2004 xterra and I removed the rear sway bar, it's way more capable now. I still want to get a locker though.
durkadurka12hdghd 3 years ago
There is a 2" lift on there now. Will go higher in 2009.
AzTed 3 years ago
I can see you have the armor for you X now comes the lift!!

it looks like you could let a little air out of those tires for that terrain

Yeah, I was at 20psi there. Now, I run 15psi.
