I have no problems with vegan/vegetarians, but please learn a little more about plants before you start raging =P Both vegan/vegetarians AS WELL AS omnivores take life when they eat food. Umm... just to clarify: some animals don't cry when they're in pain. My dog was in pain when one of his nails broke, but he just licked it, instead, and when I was examining it, he just nibbled on my hand to try to get me off, since he was in pain, so I stopped. And plants do, technically, bleed. Ever broken off a green leaf? It'll excrete a clear liquid. Plants, do, of course, breathe. At night, they breathe oxygen, during the day, carbon dioxide. So, they may just have feelings. (1/2)

Yes, I don't think a vegan diet is always totally good for humans - cows milk can be good - BUT not from cows that are mistreated as they are now!.. Yes, you are right, cows need our protection, they have a special relationship with human society - which is why in India they are venerated... if cows are protected, and we take the milk we need, the calves are happy too - see New Gokul farm BBC on You tube. or my channel - no cow need ever be killed.

I don't care about the debate on whether it's healthy, even though that's the only reason anyone should consider changing their diet, for better health.

The money you use to buy food (and everything else) can support evil practices---is it not your responsibility to investigate who you are giving your money to? @J801506 Well my reasons may not be the same as other people's you've met, but you shouldn't lump people together with labels like that. I DID become vegetarian for health benefits, whether you believe me or not doesn't concern me. No if my doctor said to eat meat I wouldn't, because regular doctors don't get enough nutritional training to really know what their talking about. Now if my NUTRITIONIST told me to eat meat, I might...not gonna lie lol.

@XoXoVANNAoXoX I believe that there are no real significant health DISADVANTAGES to being vegetarian, unless you don't make sure you get the proper nutrients. People also claim that meat doesn't make you sick if you eat it too much, but that doesn't make it true. I get enough protein without meat. I will leave the clogged arteries to you thank you!
