Well i have won it now, but what made it so difficult was the card came up very rarely and if he went first he just put Doomtrains two A's in the top corner

Direct: You lose but gain cards, take over the doomtrain card by using rubbish cards that way you don't lose much, then you win over the doomtrain card i.e. turn it blue, then make sure you have totally won the card. WIN! you've got the card.

Hmm. I wouldn't use an ALL-RARE CARD Set. I would take MiniMog and Diablos out and replace them with Malboro and Elnoyle[or elastoid]. if malboro is placed on the lower left, it's almost impossible to turn with a normal card. And the Elnoyle can strengthen the right top hand corner really much. Seifer is invincible in normal play if you put him on the top left hand corner. You can also replace Quistis with Zell.

I think it´s pretty easy at the beginning of the game. You can choose your cards. But later you must play randomly. And your Technique can´t be used.

but that´s a nice guide for beginners.

I have a question for you all. I accidentally advance to Esthar and I forgot to challenge Spade thus not getting Carbuncle from Xu and Gilgamesh from Quistis. Is there a way to obtain this cards at some other part of the game?
