  • what's a red flag?

  • @SQIRT25 red flag is a event that takes place nellis that puts the airforce and other forces to the test (like a war game)

  • Enemy UAV Incoming

  • B is for Badass

  • I was wondering, how you people can get that close to the landingstrip and that hardware? got a pass or something? I did not even see a guard with a dog or something :P

  • AWESOME VIDEOS!!!! ALL OF 'EM!!

  • THAT'S what I think of when I think about American airpower. What a sweet sound.

  • thats a beautiful plane

  • @supraguy2jzgte i know i grew up at a base with them

  • Those cameramen have wood. Ahhh-ah-ah.

  • Holy moly!!!! What camera did you use? Awesome image quality!!!

  • Your camera is INSANE! Im playing this video full screen on a 56" DLP Samsung and its crystal clear!

  • Awesome footage

  • AWESOME video! How did you get on base to take this video? How can I do that? Thanks for posting!

  • it was during red flag and im fairly sure he has very good connections (judging by his username) to get on the flight line. they don't just let people out there on a daily basis. Am I correct author?

  • B1's and the Concorde have to be the loudest airplanes ever flown !! you have to be there to understand just how loud these things are

  • yea they were at the 09 avalon airshow in aus.. well only 1 was and it was loud as heck

  • I remember being at the kentucky speedway in 2002 and they had a flyover and we didn't recognize the plane. I found it. It was this one! We were DEAF by the time it flew over us. It was low slow and we all held our ears thinking-what the HELL is that?

  • nice airplanes...........gretings from chile

  • ScaRY Bomber =}

  • I was at Avalon Airshow recently, and this thing taking off..its just sex on wings...

its amazing to behold. Even the F-18 super hornets and f-16 seemed dwindled by its power (not stats..just the sheer power of its take off)

  • Yeah i know what ya mean,as it passes you the crackle from the afterburners is so loud!

  • I mean i saw a f-16

  • U stupid fukin terrorist

  • Awesome!!! F-16!!!!!!

  • nice clip, it's amazing how close you are to this XD

  • are all spotters in this vid civilians? including you, 8081rt?

    is this area not restricted??

  • Yes all or most are civilians. There are a few airmen who had to be there to shoot as well.

  • ah ok, but i still wonder, if thats not a resticted area!?

or have you in america special spotter-ids, which you allows to go on a selected airfield?

  • It is restricted but during the year the bases have what are known as Media days where you contact the office off public affairs and can get permission to go on base and film...It's actually kind of cool to get permission to get on base with a film camera, i know cause I'm trying to get connections here at Whitemann just up the road from me.

  • ah ok thanks ;)

  • ye RAF valley did that a few weeks ago typhoon full afterburner it was sick

  • The resolution of the video does this plane justice. It's beautiful, great work on the filming. :)

  • You wanted to become a fighter pilot i guess?

  • Actually no. But who wouldn't, right? Anything else is ok.

  • Hi 8081Rt im from the Netherlands and i was just wondering if you are in the airforce yourself?

  • I wish, but no.

  • 8081rt - consider me a total newbie, but way impressed nonetheless... What's the protocol for being an (albeit registered) civilian observer for AF flights? I've been aboard Naval ships and bases, but not on exercises... I would love to attend exercises, perhaps at NAS Pt. Magu, or AFB Vandenberg, or Edwards... Having a backgound check is a small (painless) price to pay for this! Thanks for posting!

  • Things have changed since I was in the Air Force. They didn't let anyone that didn't have a reason to be there stand by the runway. Now they let civilians. Cool. Your HD is amazing too. Thanks.
