  • this is the first time i seen this god bless

  • (cont.) and you perhaps view it as a backward thing that belongs to the past

(that's what your statement seems to imply), what are we supposed to fill the

vacuum with? What exactly do you propose? Have you thought of anything better? What is it? I surely would like to hear your proposition. Certainly we must have strong education, and more technical and scientific development to meet the challenge of the "21rst century",

but our culture doesn't need to become a

    casualty in the process. Love!

  • (cont.) by some outside form of [assimilation]--perhaps from other culture

that you might think is somehow better than ours and; therefore, we should let our go and embrace theirs. Better yet, how about if we invite the return of COLONIALISM? Would that make you happy? Everytime you are persuaded, by whatever mean, to give up your own culture and assimilate someone else's, that is an obvious sign of being CONQUERED! If we give up our own culture, because it is the "21rst century"

    (cont.)

  • So what if we are in the 21rst century?

What tha stupid comment is supposed to

mean? To give up [our own] culture and

    tradition and adopt someone's else?

Perhaps "western culture", hunh? How about the white man's culture? Would you

be happy with that? Every nation on the planet have their culture and very proudly

are doing everything they can in an attempt to preserve them. What is wrong with us doing the very same thing? That comment, it seems to me, are motivated and influenced (cont.)

  • sometimes im confused about my culture

  • this dance is more specific to ohafia and does not in any way reflect arochukwu. it would be nice to post something aro is known for. the obinkita ekpo, the abba of isinkpu, atuejiogu or the ojojo...... aro mma mma nu

  • not just Ohafia but Abiriba.

it does have some refrences 2 Arochukwu..

because Ohafia/Abiriba used 2 be mercinaies in tribal wars for Aro...

Arochukwu also do the Ikperekpe dance too..Peace.

  • this is ohafia war dance and the guys are not dancing at all. The real one is very interesting.

  • @Uriems2020 I hail thee seriously. The main dance is from Ohafia Udumeze Iri Aha.. this is mere watered down entertainment.. I give them credit for trying but sometimes it makes the real deal look bad. if it was back then, Umu Ohafia nba ji isi egbu ishi will act!
