Forza 3, where we have 500+ cars but can only use 5 to race online per class, with unrealistic setups and 12 year olds with no concept of the brake pedal. Single players great though.

@thomasg2488 LOL well summed up. It takes patience but I found a group of clean racers on a forum somewhere. When you do get clean races and people not selecting the Audi A4's it is excellent - shame not all races are clean and Audi free.

This is why I stopped playing forza or any racing game online, to many people who have no idea how don't break. If you have kids under 15 stop them playing forza please, it's ruining the fun.

Great car sim in every way....Even has Panos cars...But online play does have it's share of jerks..That kick you for no reason or drive the cars the wrong way and think its funny to just ram you....

You need to use all the track when you exit corners mate. Your lap times will go down cos of the faster exit speeds. Will add my tag when i buy this : )

How is the multiplayer? I heard it's full of noobs that crash into you when they can't drive and that leave the game when they can't beat you :/ I want to buy it but I hope the multiplayer isn't like that because I will play a lot in multiplayer mode

Multiplayer really varies you will find some games full of noobs who will smash into you but other times you can find some great drivers. All and all though it is a fantastic game. Noobs cant smash you if they cant catch you!! :p

I watch races on TV and can tell straight away when a track is from Forza/Grid/PGR4/Moto GP/Race Pro :-). Can usually name a track as soon as I see the first corner. Sad I know.

I have both and can't decide which is best. Grid is shinier and prettier graphics but Forza is the overall package. Forza has way more cars but Grid is slightly more fun with the physics on the crashes and damage.

Tough choice because I played Grid solid for 3 months and I've played Forza solid since release. Get both ;-)

Because they are based on real life some are really bad and you can hardly see anything. Some of the pure bred Le-Mans type cars are like this. Guess depends on how 'real' you want it.

Personally I love the F430 in car, perfect layout and the game feels different playing from that view. Less like flying a camera round a track.

@ratatatan12 You need an ethernet cord (or a wireless adaptor) to connect to Xbox live.

And to play online, you need to buy a subscrption (silver is free with friends, voice chat,).

TO play online, you need a gold subscription which is 50 bucks a year.

And yes, there is something called a suggested line in Forza (which can be turned on or off in the options menu).

Yup :-(. The alternative is to spend some money on a 'Dazzle DVD Recorder' to enable hook up of your PC to the 360. There are YouTube tutorials explaining how.

I was too tight to spend the money on one - so do it this way ;-)

It is awesome. Private and public races. Circuit and point-to-point are the ones I play. You can pick a car class on public races and just stay in the same lobby if you want. Or you can set a private race and invite people on your friends list

Both private and public races. Public races have their settings locked but you can pick a class and stay in the same lobby and just race the set tracks. Private races the host can change what settings they like but you can only join private races if invited (but you can take your 'party' as well).

Yes it is superb when you get a room of clean racers. Once you level up experience wise it starts getting real good (the wreckers must give up by then!). Can have some very close races.

You can paint your cars and then select them for multiplayer from your garage if the host allows 'custom cars' in the game rules.

Early on there is. But once you work up through the experience levels there isn't much wrecking. I'm on level 23 or something and most multiplayer rooms are clean racers.

Yes it actually would. Most f the tracks have heavy terrain around the corners. You can try cutting the corner at 100mph but the terrain would just immediately slow you down to about ten Mph

Finish a race,. Click 'view replay'. Find the camera angle and point you want to record from. One of the control icons along the bottom of the screen is 'make movie'. Click that.

Looks like you need a private room, to avoid all those idiotic drivers. Forza 3 online looks very smooth though. Probably the best online racing game I've seen to date.

Online is silky smooth, so much so it feels like you could be racing on a LAN rather than over the internet. It is sometimes a bit of a lottery what room you join. I pray for non-wreckers but often I'm wrong.
