@imani24dunia She was not being asked a question. She had someone with an agenda try to bate her into a debate about the Congo based on what happened during Bill Clinton's presidency. That's not what she's there for and such a topic is too complex for a Q and A. She was the Secretary of State, which is not an easy job and this clip conveniently cuts out the rhetorical question that was asked. Ever wonder why? Why just the response? Why not show what she was being asked and how relevant it was.
@1105Chance: My comment may have been a little too harsh and I apologize if you may have taken it personal but I made this comment after watching the extended version of the Q & A. I am willing to recant part of my comment: the one pertaining to her being unapologetic... It was reported that Mrs. Clinton did apologize to the student/ journalist and I commend her for that. Thanks 1105Chance for your comment!
@imani24dunia If anything, you sound like a very civilized, thoughtful person. A very refreshing change from all of the rude people on Youtube. I kind of liked the Clinton's, but I realize that they have made a lot of mistakes. I am sure sometimes they are tired, grumpy, tired of pointed questions that are more rhetorical than an actual question. It's good to know she offered an apology. I think we all have moments where we get hot under the collar and it's easy to find weak moments!. Cheers.

@bfb8688 Haha... Wow. What`s that fucking ranting about. Her approval ratings are way over 60% and she is loved and adored around the world. Why do you have to be different than everybody else? Are you a fucking right-wing facist republican or something???
@bfb8688 In other words. You belive the president, vice president, the secretary of State and other govnerment officials should work for free. What are they supposed to live off?? There has been a couple of pretty poor presidents who had little means when they took office. President Truman were poor, Nixon were middle class, Carter were middle class, How are future govnerment officials gonna be able to provide for themselves if govnerment work is free work? Would you allow other income sources?
@Yellyist It should be a hobby, not a full time gig. There isn't that much that needs to be done. Most of what is undertaken is unnecessary and counter-productive.
@bfb8688 Should the presidency be a spare-time hobby??!! So the president, our head of state and commander in chief should have a full time job on the side and funtcion as our president on his spare-time? I don`t think you really mean that.. It`s laughable!

@Yellyist You can have that view, but understand that is close to the fundamental principle of 20th century totalitarianism. Hitler expressly rejected the notion of decentralized decision making. Your zombie-like response of "segregation" only shows how little you know of the political tradition known as State sovereignty. States have interposed themselves between the people and the federal government on matters ranging from opposition to the draft, to opposition to fugitive slave laws.
@bfb8688 Well i see that you don`t like the union. Well i do. If it hadn`t been for the federal govnerment, they would still be holding slaves in the south! The president is elected by the people of all states, and has a right to run the country as he wants to. The union makes America strong. If there had been 50 independant states the world would have been run by China and Russia. The world needs a superpower like America, and the president of USA needs to control both domestic and abroad
@bfb8688 My"zombie-like"response is a fucking fact! You can choose to ignore it,but it`s a fact. If it hadn`t been for president Kennedy and Johnson, there would have been segregation in the south to this day!The federal govnerment had to force those rednecks to give their black population equal rights and the vote! The northern states had to beat the shit out of the south in a civil war to force them to give up their slaves! The only way to control the bigots in the south is the federal govnerment

I didn't know Hillary was Secretary of State. When did she get that job? I wonder if she's jealous of Bill and his success at getting those journalists out of North Korea? They need a nice romantic night together to get rid of Hillary's bitchy attitude. lol

i like hilary sher is a smart worthy woman, but her reaction was wrong. she was rude and sh embarrassed america in congo. however maybe we should place the blame on bill, who seems to want to stay in the spotlight even if it upsets or devalues his wife. obviously there is something going on with her, i dont think under normal circumstances she would act like that.
kiddadd, I do not believe we should not place the blame on Bill, because regardless of what goes on in her personal life, she must maitain a professional attitude in front of people. She has a very important job so she is supposed to be a role model to people. Another thing is that she is representing the U.S when she goes to foreign countries, and she, again, must maintain a professinal attitude.
Really don't blame her for being upset! She's working very hard and is jetlagging and now being overshadowed by her husbands success on the Korean hostage case. Also it was very unprofessional for the "translator" to tongue slip - when he was actually referring to "president Obama".
This is why she lost the DEMOCRATIC nominee race imo though she was easily capable of being president she has suspect temperment she just cant hide her emotions and looks fake when she tries to show over emotion.
Love of hate Obama but i think we can all agree he is ice calm at all times i have yet to see anything that can faze him his debates over mccain where won by simple calm answers not over empassioned clitches like mccain spouted this gives the impression of a smooth head in a crisis.
@mshbar Yes, it is -- how dare someone ask the Secretary of State of the United States what her SPOUSE thinks about an issue. She had every right to be angry, and I think she gave an appropriate response. Seems to me that people are criticizing her out of sport -- hey look, it's Hillary Clinton, let's attack her because it's trendy.
@SovereignStatesman Right...I'm a "moronic sheep" and a "lapdog" for the having the audacity to suggest that a woman in a position of power shouldn't have to state her husband's views in a Q&A session where SHE is representing the United States. The idea of that is insulting, and would have been had it been any other woman politican -- Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann included.
"Right...I'm a "moronic sheep" and a "lapdog" for the having the audacity to suggest that a woman in a position of power shouldn't have to (blah blah blah)
YES, exactly, since sheep and lapdogs worship aristocratic power-- rather than believing that it should vest solely in the PEOPLE and be delegated to public SERVANTS. You are a disgrace to everything America stands for, you piece of shit.
You are the sheep, and Hillary is your shepherd, you shall not want... for stupidity.
@SovereignStatesman I'm sorry, did someone clone themselves and post as me? I was addressing the issue at hand -- a woman politician having to answer for her husband, rather than for herself. Do you go off on semi-coherent rants apropos of nothing quite often? "Hi there sir/m'am, would you like fries that with that?" "LIBERTY!!! YOU ARTISTOCRAT-WORSHIPPING PIECE OF SHIT!" All of your blind rage would be much more meaningful if it was actually channelled towards something productive, sweetie.
No, you were suckiing up tp power: "how dare someone ask the Secretary of State of the United States"
Yeah it's a PUBLIC SERVANT, and her husband is a former US president of 8 years, dumbass-- nothing wrong with asking that. More like she just USED Bubba to get where she is-- and she didn't like reminders, demanding that all now BOW BEFORE HER!
And you obviously AGREE-- "how DARE someone ask the Secretary of State of the United States..."
@SovereignStatesman It would have been appropriate to ask for Bill's opinion in a Q&A with him -- not with his wife. I sincerely doubt people disregard Bill's opinion and ask for Hillary's during Q&A's with him. And seriously, your hysterics have crossed the line from exaggeration to self-parody. Your cultish little movement will never gain mainstream acceptance if you continue to spew random, incoherent insults left and right like some belligerent toddler who picked up a civics book.
Fuck you, there was nothing inappropriate about the question, and definitely not cause for her to get angry about.
You've already shown yourself to be a suck-up asswipe, so don't even TRY to cover it up by attacking me for simply taking freedom SERIOUSLY against you demagogue-worshipping useful idiots who zig-heil in righteous indignation whenever someone asks a question your imperial majesty can't handle..
@bs17 Excellent response and you hit the nail on the head about Hillary being rhetorically bated into debate about her husband's actions and opinions. The entire matter of the Congo is too complex for that to happen anyway. I do believe that the hysterical anti-American criticism has itself become a parody of itself. How people expect to influence Americans through insult and inarticulate vilification of us seems daunting to me. Many people don't really want peace or truth, they just hate the US
@1105Chance:I concur with you when you indicated that the subject pertaining to the Congo is too complex for a Q & A session; I also agree that being Secretary of State is not an easy task but I also never insinuated that it was either. I respect the current Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton, but her reaction to the question was completely out of her character and I was baffled by her reaction because I've seen her answer more challenging, personal questions in a dignified manner.
she is past that time. too old. but she is ticked cause she has been minimalized in this administration and her hubby upstaged her last week. sounds like a real loving marriage to me. ha ha

@bs17
