  • It really is just a hobby or something to do; rather buy an air conditioner, for next Summer and in the mean time, go to the library and read some books !

  • what is the black thing made of? thanks!

  • @fedegianga91 wood painted black.

  • would dry ice work for this>

  • @fuckmycunt99 im sure it would i have a new design coming . im still working on it to get the longest life out of the ice.

  • @fuckmycunt99 ROFL, charming username

  • @michaeljupp thanks im surprised YT let me use it haha

  • Thank you for this video, people like your idea.

  • I wonder could u put radiator coolent in with the ice would that make it stay coolder

  • thank you so much! it was 32 degrees celsius here in my room now its 22!!! :D

  • If you add salt to that ice the temperature would fall even further.

  • Good idea but you need an ice maker and put a gallon of water in the ice too it will stay cold longer

  • cool, good idea! Thanks for sharing!

  • I just finished building one. $6 foam cooler, same fan and a 1 1/2 pvc elbow . Put two frozen water gallons. It's not blowing cold like I thought it would. Maybe Ice will work better?

  • Will this work to cool a room if you don't have A/C? Let's say Las Vegas with 105 degree weather?

  • @Stitch702 it would use too much Ice to keep a room cool at that temp.. your best bet is to buy an evaporation cooler ( Not a indoor unit) but a larger unit. look up a video called The best swamp cooler in the world! by a user called toegrip.. this is what you need.

  • Great Idea man and it seems so easy to build.

I have a Subaru wagon, maybe I can take it inside and let it help the car's AC or use it as the car's only AC, saves gas too.

    Awesome

  • @oxgon...I would think the salt idea would work awesome when using either ice packs or pre-frozen water bottles. Had heard your idea for quick cooling cokes on camping trips.

  • You can adapt the box so that the foam surrounds the fans (open on at least one side for air) as the setup I described puts both motors (heat) in cool-box space of enclosure. I like it as a box as it doesn't seem to affect too negative the cool factor

  • Only difference I made is that I made an enclosed box so that the fan blowing down into the cooler had a larger hole beside it (cool air captured in box enclosure-made of rigid foam) and other fan aims up from box enclosure top (hits hot air trapped in room).

  • u don't need the fan blowing into the cooler. The fan itself is generating heat. Just use the white fan blowing directly into the cooler does the same job. Plus you can dip your foot (feet or ass) to get instant chilling effect.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • I wonder if you put water and salt in their would it get even colder. Looks awesome going to try something like this.

  • Would you please do a video on how to do the solar panel set up to it? Great stuff!!!

  • Nicely done! Where did u get the thermometer from? How long does it stay cold for?

  • AWESOME!!!

    nice

    and

    cool

  • That seemed to work pretty good.

  • That a coooooooooooooool idea. :)

  • for some reason this reminds me of a jeff foxworthy joke.

  • @mettanc lol

  • I watched this video. RAR

  • @TikaFo Thanks bro!

  • great video i just loved it

  • AWESOME!!!

    favored!

  • @mrBrianlovesmovies Thanks Brian!

  • Man thats a cool idea

  • sweet

  • @WorldOfBryan Thanks for watchin bro

  • Getto king of lexington

  • @diavolo803 yep yep with a 95 dollar electric bill running the computers lights and chilling wile everyone else is paying out.. like Lil Wayne - Money In The Bank.

  • Pretty cool. That would be cheap, as long as you have plenty of ice trays to fill the chest.

  • @Katfellow well i was going to get an ice machine but after a lot of research i found i can get a Haier 5.0 cu. ft. Deep Freezer that uses less energy a year. im going to freeze 1 large gator-aid bottle and 3 two liter bottles.. when they thaw i can simply swap them out with others already in the freezer. plus that gives me more freezer room cause we are running out of space for frozen food.

  • totally enjoyed this ! I love it! thanks for sharing this.

  • @Ishkiia no problem u know me always building something!

  • @nx2overide yeah and it is so cool...I used to be like that all the time... now I just create something electronically... but I tell you what.. if our country ever got into a crisis and disaster hit.. I would want someone like you around me because then we just might survive

  • Totally going to use this thanks for the idea mate

  • @AtrumKing93 glad i could help.. thanks for watching!

  • Pretty cool!! We need to make a solar panel to run it now eh!!☺

  • @805ROADKING hehe it is running off the solar grid! great minds think alike!

  • Pretty cool man,, use some frozen milk jugs you should be able to put 4-6 of those in there in BIG chunks not busted...Good looking Lady you have I might add!

    Thumbs up!~John

  • @WORRO01 yep i was thinking about milk jugs but i think im going to go with 1 large gator-aid bottle and 3 two liter bottles because the plastic is thicker but i will give it a try and see what last longer.. Thanks for the idea!

ohh and ill relay the message to my girl.. :)

  • @nx2overide I was thinking after your froze the water in the big jugs or whatever, then cut the jugs off keeping the ice pretty much intact, know what I mean? Big chunks like that should last a bit longer. I'd be curious as to the actual temp you get though. I bet even though it will last longer it wont get quite as cool? Let me know what cha get out of it. U Da Man! Heck give that woman a hug from FL for me lol!

  • Quit fiddling with the cooler, it's make out times.

  • @thehilitereel i know right..

  • give this guy NX2 An oscar for DIY ideas

  • @hudsonvalleyguy313 lol.. thanks!

  • Really liking this, how much did this cost you?

  • @jackster137 from parts

  • @jackster137 well i had the cooler and the wood. The fan was 12 dollars at wall-mart and you can get the Universal AC to DC Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Adapter from amazon for 3 dollars.. works good too!!

  • @nx2overide Nice, would probably cost me around £10, will be good for the summer (UK)
