I would like to ask. WHat would it take for a foreign student to study in Waseda University? Are the tuitions really high? Should he/she take an entrance exam?
@Sadlullabiesdreamer Hi, while I do not attend the university myself, I plan to. The tuition fees really depend on your major, but from what I've check on their website its about 10,000 tuition. This is for the engineering department. Also, there isn't a Japanese entrance exam, but their is an interview and examination.
So someone should be able to speak japanese very well for the interview and the examination.
Or are they in english? Can you speak japanese?
Is it safe to go to Japan now? I mean with the nuclear explosion and everything? I was told that I should wait for at least a decade to consider traveling there.. I do hope though that s not true.

The university made a video on their profile of them drinking water just to show how the rumors are not true. Well I expect that their interview will be in English for foreigners, but i may be wrong. You might want to check out their homepage as it is what I'm currently doing.
