  • Sounds like a cricket...

  • My school had the same switch and I remember this one time I was in the gym standing near the exit door, and I saw some kid lifting up the "lift" handle of the switch, and I yelled at him thinking he was going to pull it-he dropped the thing back down. Dunno why he would have been fingering it like that unless he was going to set it off :)

  • Got the same fire pull.

I am using a simplex 2901-9333 bells with strobes (in all rooms), an old Edwards Coded Pull station (some rooms), the FCI dual action fire pulls (most rooms have that pull), smoke detectors (in all rooms), Fire alarm panels (upstairs and downstairs), Cameras, and a security system connected to fire alarms. The smoke/carbon monoxide detectors are also connected with the fire alarm systems. LW i set up the fire alarm systems everywhere including the garage.

  • Lol, it's a System Sensor SpectrAlert Classic rebranded by FCI (System Sensor and FCI are Honeywell companies, like Fire-lite, Notifier, and even Ademco.)

  • FCI originally made the spectralert classic.

  • System Sensor did.

  • These are the same as at my old school... used to be a military place... XD

  • I have a question

Are you using an AC power supply? Cause that FCI horn isn't supposed to sound like that...

  • Comment removed

  • My school has some of the horn/strobe units like this. They are so d*mn loud!

  • The same type of horn you have my old school has & I know They're very loud and the flashes gave me seizures just kidding.

  • where did you get the? fci

  • Will it go into alarm if you open the FCI pull?

  • Probably not...the pull is a toggle switch that is flipped up by pulling the handle. Opening the station probably wouldn't have the leverage required to flip the switch

  • Okay.

  • is this fci pull station or bell conected to a panel or anything else other than a power supply?

  • it wuz renamed

  • The horn/strobe looks like a Spectralert

  • I think it may be, but was rebranded FCI

  • I think at our Hannaford in Schenectady I think we may the spectralert(formly FCI)FIRE ALARM SYSTEM I SEE THEM IN THE BREAKROOM AND ABOVE THE BOTTLE ROOM AND INSIDE BUT THANKFULLY THEY NEVER WENT OFF BUT I THINK IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SAME AS YOUR DEMO

  • well from what I understand is sounds in continuous mode not code 3

  • this is my favorite one......

  • my school has the same horn/strobe combos......

  • That edwards pull station or whatever the pull station on the left is, wuz in my old school which was built in 1929. It was never replaced.

  • I remember the FCI from my Slater Junior High School days but the other one seems kind of retro.

  • What year is the pull-station? It seems old....

  • No date stamps on either. The Edwards is likely from the 40s or 50s and the FCI maybe 80s or 90s.

  • You had a lock made! And the audio is much better!

  • Actually, I got a new pull station, but thanks for remembering I forgot about that....
