As much as I adore Gaara, Kimimaro should have won this. He was practically dying when he fought Gaara. He was on his freaking death bed!

I mean, facing Sabaku Kyuu? Sabaku Sousou? Ryuusa Bakuryu? Sabaku Taisou? He should have been dead.

But there he was, an inch from killing Gaara but his body could not take it anymore, his life force left him just like that.

Kimimaro has Kekkei Genkai (I think that's how you spell it) that allows him to manipulate his bones. He can regenerate, extend, and create new bones. However, one thing, he must have an abnormal body, because when Kabuto tried to treat his disease, he somehow didn't find enough information. Unfortunately, he passed away... I agree, actually, he would've won. R.I.P. Kimimaro...

Kimi wasnt die from all that moves just because of the cursed mark, remember he has to went through all 2 stage to survive. Thats just the borrowed power.

And dont forget about shukaku, it will not let gaara die, so I think if the fight was getting longer, shukaku will come out and kill kimi anyway. In this fight, gaara didnt even use a bit of shukaku's power, unlike kimi, always use oro's.

So gaara deserved to win. :)
