I remember getting so much shit for speaking English in school......my teacher would always be all over my ass for "parlez le français"....though she was pretty hot from what I remember.....lol ^.^

Well most of quebec is French. But I'd guess about a quarter of the population is anglophone. Especially in Montreal. I'd say Montreal is close to a 40/60 split of English and french. I'm almost perfectly bilingual and I have a bunch of French friends so busting out the Francais is no prob but for the most part I tend to chill with the english peeps.
