RTS-5A 1994 sign-on/off

As of last week, RTS-5A analogue permanently signed off. I should upload some footage I took in the early 90s from Bendigo of this station...

1. What's the "A" in "5A"?

2. What's the affiliation for this station?

Any idea of year? Am guessing 1994 or shortly after with the use of the 'What's Ray say' ACA promo shot in there.

Fantastic effort uploading these clips, doing a great job preserving Australian TV history, keep it up! Love the collector's cuts and DX'ing examples.

Toolcraft Goodwin (TG) card. Apart from RTS5A, I also have TG cards on video from MTN9, RTQ7, and MVQ6

Ah cool. Some of the quality of the pictures has been quite good considering the age of the tape. Alot of these old gems turning up on YouTube

You're right. It was Lesile Nielsen...I'd dare say it was a network produced promo for the TV premiere of Naked Gun 2 1/2 and RTS-5A have simply edited it to fit.
