I heard this song on coasttocoastam a couple of days ago. Never knew what it was called, and only have heard it around 3 times in 15 years. Brings back memories, I was 6 years old in 1983... It reminds me of road trips with my folks while my brother/sister were fighting over the radio. As many have said below, it sure was the best of times back then... He is actually a spaceman not and earthling at all and he is going home meaning space not earth.
