  • what is the yellow supposed to be

  • I love this youtube music for some reason!? IS THAT WEIRD?

  • Hey guys! I'm 13 and me and my best friend are starting to make videos, we would really appreciate if you checked out our channel! We do tutorials on nails, hair, polymer clay, charms and much more! We just put up a tutorial on a polymer clay macaroon, so please check it out(: thanks(:

  • Can anyone tell me wat the background music is? :D

  • check out my channel!

  • what do people use these for

  • How many minutes and temputure do you put it in for??

  • I need help, on the reducing and squeezing part ? Help please!

  • @NhiBabyy i know, i found it difficult too for a while, you just have to carefully squeeze the sides of the shape and try not to distort it, so do it slowly and dont try to reduce it all at once if you cant

  • @clayminiatures wow thnx for the tutorial, it helped me alot :)

  • @NhiBabyy Roll it on a clean table instead

  • lol

  • it looks kinda wronggg... lolll

  • @roserrful lmao

  • For a second i thought the thumbnail pic was something else...I shouldn't really say :o

  • the thumbnail looks like the bottom of the red angry bird.

  • @thatpikminguy haha =D

  • @thatpikminguy i think the red angry bird is pooping LOL xD

  • i have a question, if i a bake these will i be able to cut them or are they going to be hard?

  • @OhSnapRayssa use premo or fimo clay, not a brittle clay like sculpey lll and bake it for 2-5 minutes and it should be ok to cut.

  • @OhSnapRayssa hard

  • wen u slice the cane do u slice it after being baked or before that?

  • @Sonybo100 which ever you want, i sliced this after

  • So all we do is squeeze it? We don't need a special tool or something?

  • @SmileyAsianGirl yup no tools needed!

  • when ever i make canes im supper supper bad at it

  • @PeacePop45 supper? lol its super

  • This.... is..... AMAZING :) :) :)

  • I love making canes but I am super bad at it. Last time I tried to make a kerropi cane, but that failed and so did the other one I tried to make:/ have any suggestions on easy canes?

  • @robneg867 i used to be so bad at making canes but i'm better now, it takes a while to get the hang of it so first thing is when you attempt to make a cane, make it small so if it doesn't work you won't waste so much clay. Most of the time the reducing of the cane is where everything goes wrong, so do it bit by bit and take your time, , so it won't deform as much :) Some good canes to start of with are of course round like egg, lemon etc. then you can move on to strawberries etc. :D

  • @clayminiatures well thx sooooo much

  • can you use those as fimos?

  • @Pruttomaten you can make it out of fimo and have fimo canes :)

  • how small is it though

  • @Cokeluver43526 the cane slices are around 4-5 mm and the cane before you reduce it is around 2 cm in diameter

  • What temperature do you bake it in? :)

  • @KnittedCherry at 130 C :)

  • i keep trying to make canes but everytime i try to squeeze and reduce it gets messed up. i feel like i'm just waisting clay :(

  • @Hannahcopiclove i know, sometimes it's hard to make canes, i was really bad at them before XD, start with really simple canes that are round like a banana cane, and because the colour of the cane is yellow and white ad brown if you mess up your can mix the colours together and get a sort of "dough" colour to make other things! squeeze and reduce the cane very gradually, so do a little bit then take a break and continue doing that and maybe it wont mess up :)

  • How do you reduce it? You just roll it or...?

  • @iBrianne16000 you squeeze and stretch it, rolling it may make it distort

  • Why do you need to add those colours at the bottom? Does it make it look more realistic?

  • @anacondana2 yes it does, because apples usually are a mixture of yellow/red

  • @clayminiatures Oh, I never knew you would have replyed so fast, anyway thanks for replying!

  • What kind of clay you used?

  • @ThePurplelover122 i used sculpey lll for this, not the best clay for a cane, sculpey premo is better.

  • I heard this jingle in garage band for Mac XD

  • @KlareAquaTea i got it from imovie >.<

  • does this work with fimo??

  • Do you bake the clay first and then cut?

  • @iheartclaycharms either way is fine, but baking first does mean that you can store the cane without is squishing

  • @clayminiatures but if you store it with baking then won't it be too hard to cut?

  • @iheartclaycharms not if you choose a clay that is flexible after baking such as premo, and bake it for only 2-5 mins

  • @clayminiatures thankyou!(:

  • ilikegrass1 main song :)

  • Omg thx so much ur amazing:)

  • Lv ur work it's exelanta

  • @msclaygirl1 thank you

  • ummm pllz tell me how can i bake the cane before i slice or cut it ???? it ill be very hard to do that after dry???

  • @89lolitalempicka bake it at the temperature for your clay ( should be on the packet) for 2-5 minutes, check often to see if it has hardened slightly, then take it out. you can cut it when warm or store it as a stick. It should be sort of bendy, sculpey lll is not very flexible, premo! and kato clay are the most flexible :)

  • @clayminiatures

    thnxxxxxx :)
