You think the UK is bad!? In the US Rupert Murdock owns Fox News, which isn't just biased, it flat out lies over and over again, and has more viewers than any other news channel in the country. The only people who keep them in check are MSNBC (which has a liberal bias) and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart (which not enough people watch). If you want to see a true manipulation of the masses, do some research on this fellow named Glen Beck. After watching his show you'll want to gouge your eyes out
I love your appreciation of Stanley Kubrick, because he is considered the most over-rated director a lot of the time, but in reality is the most under-rated director of all time. I like that you try to analyze things, because the people I know prefer to only take a movie's word for it and never try to understand what the movie is really about. Keep in mind I live in Southern California, so you shouldn't expect much smarter.
Man you 're copletely mad and damn hard-working, no one has as much zeal as you to explain things that are so obvious for every Thinking Human. I really appreciate your work, god bless you

Yeah there's a lot to be explored. What amazes me is how many people think their door will be busted down in the middle of the night if they dare to voice peaceful dissent. It's like a self-imposed silence.
why would any commercial company want to harm it's sales by putting a free newspaper up as competition? can you say propaganda? There IS an information war going on you know.
public awareness of newspaper bias MAY be the reason for decline in sales?
If the controlling establishment can no longer cloud their minds with boring government disinformation, they'll do it by shoving sex and violence on them.
A third of my education was in a Canadian school and the schools here in England were pathetic by comparison. Living back and forth between the two cultures was like living in two systems - not hugely different, but enough to make me start asking questions at an early age.
As for grades, Art and English I did well in. Education was considered a waste of time by most people around me in my teens so I mistakenly took that as a given and had to compensate for it later.
I think that you are discounting one hugely significant effect (in the American media at least), and that is the overwhelming political bias of the individual reporters and editors that populate the media. I'm sure that I don't need to remind you about the power that arrogance and pluralistic ignorance can have in causing you to make irrational decisions. This is why so many news outlets retain a liberal bias despite financial disincentives to provide more balanced coverage.
This is only part two of what will eventually be a one hour length video so there is plenty more to say of course. I generally agree with what you say and I'd also add that a lot of those reporters and editors have those jobs specifically because they naturally share the bias of the publication owners. People who challenge the bias will find plenty of career obstacles in the field.
not only that, and im sure that u will cover this in ur next video, often times reporters are told what to write and what to report about. which, of course, is another form of this bias that i believe u r trying to convey, or is that you're trying to get people to think for themselves, because the gist that i get anyway.
I don't think modern media bias is as specific and blatant as that. (maybe at FOX it is, lol). It seems to generally work along the lines of self-consoring by journalists. They become familiar with what is expected of them even though it isn't said outright, and they have a general idea about what kinds of stories will bring pressure on their editors to fire them.
I think that the internet has made newspaper sells go down. Why give them money, since you are paying for your internet connection.

I don't see how you are able to be so hard-working, and organize your thoughts so completely.
