  • One should see Floyd before one dies

  • Durga McBroom

  • Female singers should have to sing this to pass the test to get on the radio

  • CHILLS NUTHING BUT CHILLS ..... LIKE KISSING A NEW LOVER .... PURE SATISFACTION

  • God loves this song.

    RIP Rick Wright.

Clare Torry is the original singer of this beautiful song. I almost wrote ballad, but that's because I think of great things when I hear this emotional outpouring.

  • wat? 0 dislikes?

  • . :|^|: . E veio A Tropa Inteira ... ...

  • PRA QUE ACIDO SE EXISTE PINK FLOYD

    ADÃO ITAMBACURÍ

  • I'm in love with the blond singer.

  • of course!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:50 is that a double or triple vocal??

  • brings me to tears!

  • 0 people dislike gangster street thugs

  • Fuck a gangster street thug

  • The Delicate Sound of Thunder version from '88 is much better. The singers in that one all nail it, especially the two white girls.

  • damn right there are zero dislikes on this

  • WOW

  • Whenever someone clicks on a Pink Floyd video an automatic thumbs up should occur.

  • Sam Brown ruined it. Puts her own melody in the original. Bring back Clare Torre. Nothing like the original

  • @jurmongler nothing like the original dead right ,but RUINED it oh come on this is shear brilliance

  • What a babe.

  • @XxAstroX agree but listen carefully from 2:04 to 2:20 .... that white woman broke walls !!!!!

  • amazing

  • just amazing...

  • 2:06 is a goosebump moment.

  • Nobody can top the original singer though. She just did it for everybody :-) I don't she did much work after but you wouldn't want to after that. She gave her heart and soul and left!! Brilliant

  • RIP Richard Wright

  • liked you from the heart because peanut pink floyd my life and my way of being God in heaven on earth pink floyd

  • hey did you notice that the blondie turned into a black gal while singing?? ??

  • you understand pink floyd, understand live

  • I wouldn't mind taking any of them out to dinner. But that's it.

  • I guess I was 15 when I heard this the first time...and I remember getting goose bumps all over...absolutely mesmerised that's what I was.....and even 25 years later the effect of this incredible song hasnt altered a bit..i still get mesmerised and the goose bumps !!

  • I love the lyrics...

  • We all bleed red and we all come from the Most on High God. Even though you last few are a childish embarrassment to humanity, I am hoping you will grow up someday. All 3 performers were brilliant, perfect in every way, and very beautiful women and even more beautiful spirits. I feel a real connection to them and all humanity when they pour their souls into this particular song. Cinder is burnt, Dcayed is just that and virtue08 simply has none. May Christ help you all to wake up.

  • i like niger nips and me nemae i kurtr

  • last 1 sucked

  • hehe funny fuck

  • @virtue08mofo maybe because she's a great singer?

  • the mighty roar of the lioness @ 2:04 ......she had me at " oh yeah"

  • an Epic band, and Epic song, the vocals are legendary, has any american idol contestant ever attempted this song?

  • fucking loving it... goosebumps all over the body every minut of this performance...

  • Pure Music of all time..........incredible...

  • I have been in a car with true gangster street thug dudes, and put on pink floyd, and they fucking love it

    this music transcends all cultures.

  • @TheStarJuggler were you guys on your way to mcdonalds? "I'm lovin in!"

  • @TheStarJuggler LOL that sentence is hilarious! true gangsters lollll

  • @42senorrasta420 Yea... the type of guy with a 1,000 yard stare usually reserved for those who have seen brutal combat during military service.

  • @TheStarJuggler lol what does that quote from full metal jacket have to do with this LOL

  • @TheStarJuggler That's totally understandable because "The dark side of the moon" is the greatest album to listen to while stoned... ever. That's why they Fucking love it.

  • @TheStarJuggler haha i know what you mean dude. Most of my friends listen to rap and all that but when i play this they love it haha

  • Dave Gilmour, the craftsman, crafting his technique with maximum focus.

  • nothing to say...

    just hear and admire...

    it's PINK FLOYD...

  • i bought this dvd to my dad for his bd, it is amazing!!! anyone who is a pink floyd fan should definately buy it. just look at pink floyds greatness.

no one on earth even comes close to making a concert like pink floyd does.

  • All three of these ladies gave me goose bumps at least once :) ....insanely powerful singing

  • Pink Floyd is always a must know.

  • That 2nd singer totally owns it ;)

  • The first singer owns it. Pshhhhhhhhh

  • @XxAstroX The second singer is Lorelei McBroom who is now touring with Rod Stewart

  • @XxAstroX i bet if she juggled deez nts in here mouth and tryed singin that song she would own it!

  • @XxAstroX

    SAM BROWN

  • yes claire torry is original but check out 1st girl in 1988 delicate sounds of thunder...best in my opinion...so much emotion and really captured the mood of the song

  • music is not about how the artist looks but how it sings/plays. I think the performance was great

  • Sorry but look at common artists like Lady GaGa or other female hip hop/rap. Id so like to bone the first girl but the other 2 are ugly.

  • You've missed the whole point. You don't hear the music. You don't know what real beauty is. How sad.

Beauty is what Clare Torry made in this track. It doesn't get any better.

  • did i not say the first one was the best. 1st is best in sound AND beuty, 2nd and 3rd sound horrible and got the face to match it.

  • lol compared to the 2 girls that you dislike the thing lady gaga does is not music in my books. THIS is real music!!

  • this is how I feel when I use my peppermint body wash in the morning

  • ...il grande calesse nel cielo porta voci di donna

  • Sam Brown thank you so much! You are amazing!

  • the singer is the original (that we have heard in the record of the great gig in the sky)?

  • No she is not. Clare Torry sang the well known female solo on this song. She is a British singer who is mostly known for performing the wordless vocals on Pink Floyd's "The Great Gig in the Sky" on the 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon.

  • This is why I love Pink Floyd. =)

  • goosebumps!!!!

  • This is an exceptional piece of video.

Thanks, as growing up in the 70's, this is all I listened to.

  • It was Sam Brown, quite well known British singer (her most famous song is "You'd better stop"). In 2002 she took part in David Gilmour "In Concert"- live at Meltdown Festival. Looking at her back in 1995 I had the same feeling as below ;)

  • I bet back in the day when they did concerts for Dark Side of The Moon they would bang the girls who sing this song live :D

  • what a cheesey comment. who are you? beavis and butheads retarded brother?

  • oh f- I wish i was there. :( *sighs* I wish i was born in the sixties or seventies. :(

  • shit...lol

  • Comment removed

  • the song was a white chick in the first place

  • i didnt kno that. sorry. on the album it has the soul of a black women. my bad. either way, not enough soul

  • holy shit at 2:05 that blew me away. simply amazing :)

  • cacca pestata in confronto a Claire Torry!!!

  • Sam is so fucking hot-her depth is amazing

  • the version close to the original & that was unbelievable live was with 3 backing singers one of which was durga mc broom if im not mistaken...absoulutly blew my fucking head off..... but all versions are so powerfulyou cant knock em

  • the greatest song that only goes

AHH!!! OHH!!! over and over again

    good song

  • by the way nikolai1uno clare torrie original singer

  • whoever sings this doesnt do nearlly as good as the original singer that white chick it to high

  • anyone know who recorded the original female voice????????

  • Claire Torre

  • I love how David gives Sam that look. She gets really into it at the end.

  • that's because the screaming sounds near orgasmic.

  • Sam Brown is the best and I love the way

David looks at her at 2:13. Check out Sam's video of "Stop" in '89. She must have started growing her hair then for this concert.

  • Thanks Rick! and thank you Sam too!!!

  • the original recording is not one take, its half a dozen takes all put together. it would be impossible to sing it better than the recording.

  • This chic would be a great blues singer. Not bad but I like Clare Torre's original improv the best. To come up with that like she did was pure genious.

  • there is such thing as heaven

  • Nobody gives a shit.

  • about your existence?

    cause i dont

    you fucker

    go hang yourself :D

  • it s great!! especially the last lady leaves you speechless....

  • Keep these oh oh oh's on your mind while your lying on that beach....

  • ohhhhhhhhh! my Great Goddess in the sky : )

  • she has nothing on who ever originally did this

  • GOD I lLOVE this song and the female vocals of this tune!!!!!!!

  • this song needs Lisa Fisher

  • Beautiful...

    video and song

    Beautiful*****

  • Shivers down my spine!!!

  • When I was at Hofstra University for the 88-89academic year, a schoolmate sang this song with a tribute band on campus and she was AWESOME!

  • RIP Rick Wright

  • Mi más sentido pésame para un genio que vivirá por siempre. Gracias por la magia y por tantas emociones, R.I.P.

  • R.I.P R.W

  • Rick R.I.P. brother you deserve it.

  • psicodelia puraaaaaaaaa

  • white girl or not

just does not match up by far to the original singer

    Merry Clayton

  • i was sure the original singer was clare torry

  • THANKS you are right!!!

I realized after i made comment

I got her mixed up with the woman who sang with

    the rolling stones

  • yeah it was clare torry

  • i agree, she doesnt' have the depth of emotion or the voice to carry it

  • WTF SHE RULEZ

  • listen to the original

  • The Aussie Pink Floyd do it superbly. It needs to be made to sound effortless, that is the trick. Nice try kiddo, no cigar.

  • yeah you're right she definetly isn't as good

  • Pink flloyd rock!

  • that white chick sings so good and she's so sexy in the ways she moves.

  • Been waiting to hear Sam let loose like this for ages. "Horse to the water" is damn special too. Now I got Durga in my list of favs also. Oy!

  • Sam Brown, the blonde, crushes this sone in a way that even the original vocalist, Clare Torrey, would be stunned by. Sam even blasts the incredibly touching follow-up from long-time Floyd backup singer Durga McBroom.

  • i also like think floyds cover of this tune

  • thats crazy thats a white chick

  • Well the original singer was also a white girl
