  • is the razer vespula good with R.A.T 7? is it working good with the vespula?

  • @romkamuck I have the exact 2 things too. But the RAT 7 rarely moves only vertically.

  • @romkamuck I currently have the vespula in combination with the r.a.t. 7. I can recommend the vespula if you play at higher sensitivity's because it is not to big. However, I dont recommend the R.A.T. 7, I have some laser problem with it, wich is quite common.

  • Nice Table :D

  • @TheQuestForYubelDX Yes it would and I agree, we did already realise that from an earlier comment.

  • @mrix2000 Lol did you delete my previous comment? I'm sure i've commented twice before yet i'm still unable to find it....

  • @iPwnedYou7 but its awesome!

  • The speed side of my vepsula got worn out after just a couple of months... and the controll side took a bit more to wear out, 2-3 months more i guees. So it was my first and my last hardmat!

  • I get 2+ KD with a plastic laptop mouse on a mousepad. :D

  • Hahaha awesome, I have the same set-up; R.A.T. 7 and Razer Vespula. Works wonders, doesn't it? :)

  • My R.A.T. 9 still haven't dropped connection. The only possible time would be when I'm out of power, and the flashing icon on the side, which often flashes for 30-60 minutes beforehand, gives you a heads up as to when you should change to a new "battery". The battery change takes me less than 10 seconds, and is fast and easy. And with the battery docking close by, you'll always have a new pair ready. So, no, it losing it's connection/signal is rather irrelevant. Wires are still more annoying.

  • @xzbyte2002 Not arguing with you lol I have highly rated my R.A.T 7 and from yur recommendation I might even try the R.A.T...best of luck!

  • @mrix2000 do you have the problem of r.a.t. 7 not working when you lift it a little bit?

  • @Aeletaz747

if I lift it yes but it never really lifts so I don't get a problem even though I am a heavy BF3 player!

  • @mrix2000 yeah... but after all try to surf (tf2 surf) with this combination...

  • dont waste your money buying metal mouse pads, they just wear out the feet on your mouse. stick to mouse mats you wont be disappointed.

  • Vespula or Megasoma? i looking for a mousepad with good precision and dont waste so fast, now i have the goliathus speed version and now is so waste i have with it like a one or two years so what is ur recommendation

  • Raizur

  • what is the headphones you have in the mouse review *PLS REPLY*

  • @TheRedstoneBros

Hi there, the Headphones are the Wireless Logitech G930 which I am still using but you can purchase the G35 wired version. best of luck!

  • @mrix2000 So i just bought the Razer Vespula and i have had a R.A.T 7 for a while now about 8-9 months and it gets good use but when i put my mouse on the razer mouse pad i get no response kinda frustrating did you have that problem with your mouse or just me? help would be greatly appreciated :)

  • @MrTheklotter

Hello, in all honesty I did not get that issue? have you installed the latest drivers for the R.A.T ?

  • @mrix2000 thanks for the help :) i installed all the new software and drivers but that didnt help so i got a couple q-tips and cleaned the bottom of the mouse and it works :) sooo happy.

  • @MrTheklotter

Very glad to hear it! best of luck!

  • I've been looking around for a review on youtube for an hour and yours was the best because you actually demonstrated how a mouse moved on the pad. At the moment I'm gaming on the bare surface of my desk and was wondering if a pad would make a difference. Will be getting one shortly. Thanks.

  • @kiwiasian Hello first thanks for your kind words! second be very careful when using a mouse just on the desk surface as you can damage the mouse contacts, pads, whatever you call them, trust me as it happened to me! when yo use a mat like the vespula make sure the base of your mouse has no scratches as this can be relaid to the mat when used. Best of luck!

  • I had this pad for about a week until I returned it back to Amazon. I had bought a new G700 along with this mouse pad and with-in the first week, I noticed scratches from side to side on the smooth side. Smallest grains of dust between two hard surfaces moving around will scuff the surface up. I live in Phoenix where it's naturally dusty.

I ended up picking up a Steelseries QcK heavy clothe pad.

  • 1:45 you could just turn the mat around.

  • Are those Logitech G930's in the background?

  • I absolutely love my R.A.T 7 and i am totally going to buy cyborg keyboard v7. (and i am considering of buying razer vespula.)

  • Im going to get the Cyborg RAT 7. And I have no idea what mat i should be using. Or which one is the best. Help plz?

  • rat 7 5600 DPI WOW

  • Is this mouse mat solid?, meaning could I place it on a soft surface, like my bed at times, and it not be all bumpy, like a regular soft mouse mat?

  • @RoHaMun1v3r5al

Yes it is a solid mouse mat but it does come with a rubber base which you can just remove.

  • Comment removed

  • You don't need to cut the bottom map. There's a reason why they gave those green rubber tabs on either side. They act has grips when you're not using the wrist pad :|

  • I have same mousepad, playing nearby year and it's COOL

  • i prefer cloth ..but it looks amazing

  • Vespula is good

    Rat 7 good

But your Keyboard is Fail u need V7 +

    Nostromo keypat

    but even

  • @Toshlr0 im rocking a logitech k120. come at me bro. Razer mamba and the goliathus control edition large.

  • RAT 7 or RAT9??? need answer fast!!!!

  • @MyBlade78

I personally don't like wireless which the R.A.T 9 is, there is nothing worst while gaming when the wireless drops connection. Difficult to answer but my preference is always to stay wired when it comes to a mouse or R.A.T lol

  • @mrix2000 you can leave the cord plugged in? i use the mamba that way. the cords are plenty long enough anyways. mice that are technically wireless have never dropped when i treat them like they're corded (i always just plug them in with the usb cord charger) I also like the weight holder for the rat 9 :)

  • @mrix2000 hey we have the same mice :) i love the fricking darn mouse, customizeable, fun, wide, solid i just love it ^^

  • @lillskiten1337

Yes amazing mouse, I would definitely purchase another if anything went wrong with it! in a word Awesome!

  • @mrix2000 Well there is one thing wrong with mine, the pads on the mice itself is getting worn out.

  • @mrix2000 RAT 7, i own it, gotta be best and most customizable out there

  • @mrix2000 Im totally with you on the wired mouse. I hate the wireless since its so unreliable when your playing a game. It may lag and do weird stunts while in-game so im a honest wire man :D thats why i recommand people the Edge GX500 Gaming Mouse. <3

  • not both of them but if you choose rat then only 7. wired is cheaper and better

  • @mrix2000 never happened that my rat 9 dropped conection :x but for me, wires are annoying ass hell :D

  • @EpicNova311

I am not saying the R.A.T 9 will drop connection but when a mouse does that`s also annoying as hell lol

  • @MyBlade78 They dont call it a gaming mouse, if its not made for gaming.. Same response time as the wired, and does not loose connection when its a gaming wireless.. but i personaly like wired bcus of batteries and stuff.

  • @MyBlade78 7

  • @MyBlade78 well if u like wired rat 7 and faster reaction if u like a small dely and changing batteries rat 9

  • @MyBlade78 I'm sorry but id rather have a wireless mouse and keyboard so that u can connect computer to tv lie down take ur mous and keyboard and use the tv as a computer

  • cyborg rat 7 ftw!

  • I like this mat. My only problem is that after about of month of use, the surface begins to wear away and it wont glide as well when it was new.

  • Razer makes dozens of mouse pats and this the only model with the gel pad, and STILL you specifically buy this while you could get 2 cheaper ones for the same price. And now you complain you don't need it?

  • Guys I don't understand some of the comments here. The wrist rest is removable. Just don't use the base with the wrist rest. it's fine.

I'd suggest turning it around. I prefer a wider vertical. It's a great mouse pad. Not sure if it's the greatest.

  • Nice review mate..interesting heavy British Accent.. but i like it :D

  • How is 35 pounds expensive?? I'd pay 1,000,000 pounds for this! I mean..it's just monopoly money isn't it?

  • MA MOUSE GLIDES R ALSO DAMAGED...SO IS IT DE PROBLEMM !

  • i have it, IT'S AWESOME only the rest thing is fucking terrible i hate it soo much i can't touch my last button on the left :/ im gonna try 'n remove it though...

  • @ByVxIJa

There should be no problem at all to removed the rest, a pair of scissors and your done! best of luck!

  • @mrix2000 nahh just turned it around XD

  • @lokivoid calm down, the price if it went down and.if ppl want to cut it off w.e not like it matters too much. If it respond better with r.a.t out razor type mouse then so be it. If you look at it, the pattern would be equal creating an almost somewhat captivating attention. Personal preference end of story

  • i got a large patch in de middle of ma razor vespula mouse pad.& it slowx dwn de movement!!! plxxxx helppp...plxxx......thnkx anywa!!!!

  • My complaint about the pad is the wrist pad is non removable, and the pad is somewhat usable without the rubber matt. As the little green rubber grips are not adaqute to prevent movement, and the raise the pad up allowing the center of the pad to flex easily. For the price it should of came with a secondary rubber matt without the wristpad or made the wristpad removable

  • @Lokivoid

Why not just rotate the mat around so the wrist rest is at the front? or maybe just get some scissors and remove it?

  • @mrix2000

That defeats the point, for as much as it costs you shouldnt have to destory it to make it functional, considering a minor design change would of fixed the issue (ether reinforceing the board to prevent flex or velcrowed used to bind the wristpad rather than a solvent based adhesive) As for flipping it around that option is flawed as the pad can bind on the mouse cable.

  • @Lokivoid

A t the end of the day you are well aware that the mat comes with the wrist rest so I cant see what the problem is? if you don't actually like the wrist rest you can easily trim it off with scissors, end of issue!

  • @mrix2000

when the box clearly states the "WRISTPAD" is removable, this statement is false as it is permantly afixed to the matt (that the pad requires to prevent flexing). You clearly do not under stand the concept of why pay for something when you have to destory it to make it function as advertised, that concept alone invalidates what little of a defensive arguement you had. end of issue

  • yeah the smooth side of mine has scrathes off my razer imperator mouse! So its NOT abbrasive resistant at all.

  • It's pronounced Vesss pewla with a hard p...

  • British? (no racism)

  • QUESTION !!!

Golithus ? Vespula ? or Scarab ? would love a response from everyone :)

  • @ba77ar90

Check out my review on the boogie bug mouse mat and you will see my answer!

  • why do you even need a mouse pad? i have a wooden desk and my rat 5 works without a problem. it even glides like yours

  • @mikuz007

Your making a huge mistake! the feet on the R.A.T 7 will wear of over a fairly short period of time... be warned and get a mat!

  • @mrix2000 What do you mean about the MAT I just bought the mouse pad and know I am paranoid.

  • @keeler1160

Nothing wrong with the Mat, I was just explaining using the R.A.T 7 on just a table surface will ruin the feet, the mat itself is really good!

  • "that mousepad is from reiza"

  • im lovin the mouse n mouse pad setup

  • Yay, just got the RAT 7, and looking for a mousemat.

    Cheers :D

  • I got the same combination omfg

    even keyboard.

  • :D I have the Vespula and the RAT 7 too omfg :O xD

  • Lol, a nice mouse, and a nice mat, both next to a regular microsoft keyboard. =P

  • Respond to this video...

You say regular but I highly rate them! the first time I went split keyboard, I have never looked back, the reason why I stick with the microsoft keyboard is because there is nothing to match it regarding these type of split ergonomic keyboards.

  • @mrix2000 Typematrix, the best dvorak ergonomic keyboard :)

  • @djamorpheus

The thing I really like about the Microsoft keyboard is that it is sloped! both sides of the centre, I cant go back to using a flat keyboard.

  • as soon as I saw the mouse, I subbed.

  • What do you think better, the R.A.T 7 or Razer Mamba?

  • good vid

  • maybe the 2 sides are for when one is ruined use the other?

  • i have same combination, but i´ve got RAT 9

  • i got the vespula the day it came out, and it works amazing with my naga, the combo is insane, if u want a mousemat, get this, and u dont need to cut the gel thing of, just take the bottom layer of cuz the green things around the side, are grip, if that grip isnt enought spin the mouse mat around, its perfect

  • Hi dude!

nice mouse, I got the same one. And I had my eyes set for a long time now on the Razer Vespula.

But I heard some messages on boards that the RAT doenst work to well on black or very dark surfaces...

Is this also the case with the Razer Vespula?

Since I see you use that combo, I would think the mouse works just fine on that mousemat and you have no issues?

    Glad to hear from you...

    Thx!

  • @Erikootje

Hi there, the RAT 7 works totally fine on the vespula mouse pad!

  • @mrix2000

thx man, I will safely order the pad! ;)

  • @Erikootje Hey, the R.A.T 9 works perfectly on dark or black surfaces. Remember, the laser tracks the microscopic "pits" on the surface, not the colour.

  • i think the vespula will scratch the side of ur mouse as it have the metal on the sides of the mousepad

  • People keep whinging about scratching the pad ? WTF are you using a Brick ? The Vespula is an excellent mouse pad, you simply need to keep your teflon mouse feet in good condition.

  • nice mause ))

  • Use a mamba, youll fell the difference between the sides, what do you expect from two different companies? Of course Razer is going to make sure that only Razer mice glide the best

  • This mouse mat after a couple of days use has caused me some issues while gaming...

Basically the surface is so slidy with hardly any resistance I have initially found it hard to get used to and it has affected my gaming

Having played thousands of hours with mats that have far more resistance on the mouse this mat does take a bit of getting used to.

On a better note, after a couple of days I am already getting used to it

  • @mrix2000 Thank you!!! That is the kind of mouse mat that I am looking for, because I don't like resistive surfaces, especially when I have significant weights added to my R.A.T 9. At last, I have found the right mouse mat....Thank you!!!!

  • Ive got this mat a few days ago ( with the g9 ) its realy strange to get used to the smoothness at first but its hard to go back to my old one now. Also the flat surface is slightly more resistant to movement and the rough surface is the super smooth side.

  • you could just turn the gelpad to the back of the mousemat/back of the desk could u not rather then attack it with a pair of scissors

  • @dagrimone

Ok smart assss.... good point!!!! lol

  • The Mouse is the R.A.T 7, the RAT 9 is the wireless version... I have done a review on the R.A.T 7 if anyone is interested.

  • WTF IS THAT CRAZY MOUSE?

  • @alxikk roccat 7 if im not mistaken

  • @alxikk Cyborg R.A.T. 9

  • You have been raging on your desk xD
