Doctor, This is a whole new way of looking at numbers. We are looking at the patterns in the Ones-digits and the Tens digits separately. Putting them together creates the times table like magic, but based on solid math. See the "2s and 8s" videos to understand why and how number circles work. See the 3s, 6s, 9s video to see another way of playing with ones and tens-digits. I hope you can let go of what you "know" and see multiplication in this fun way. Good luck!
