I think this cartoon is a prequel before Cro Marmot somehow got himself frozen. He got killed in the end because he wasn't protected by ice yet.

This is amazing you guys! I've seen about a hundred different attempts at replicating the old style black and white film and all they ever do is shot the video in black and white and add the same obvious scratch effect every single time. This cartoon does everything right! The direction, the animation, and even the fading of the film really looks like it's an actual cartoon from 1927. Kudos Mondo Media!
