Make sure for file name that you put in a file extention this one is the most commonly used and effective Darkstar.bat for example. Under File Name it will say Save As Type: change Text Documents To All Files and then Save be sure to save this file in a place in which you can find. Place the file which is known as a Batch File into whichever mod you wish and double click.

Than also, in Notepad type in (-game Darkstar -console) of course depending on what mod you may be using of Half-Life it should look something like this C\users\Unknown\ hl.exe -game Darkstar -console. Make sure all that is in Notepad.

Now on the top Header go to file and Save As, it will ask for File Name make sure to name the file correctly, it usually should be named after the .wad file.

I think I may know a way to open the Console you can actually do this through Notepad. Go to the one of your Mods, Right Click on it and under Type: you will see Location: Highlight the Pathway whatever Pathway that is, for example: C\users\Unknown\ and ect. Open Notepad and copy the text. Be sure to put hl.exe at the end of it, it should look like this C\users\Unknown\ hl.exe

Does anyone know how to get the console to work in this mod? the console is working for the original half life on mine but when I play USS Darkstar is won't even come up. I've played it in the past and it's worked so I must be doing something wrong. Any help would be highly appreciated :)

They were working on a SECOND USS darkstar.

To follow up the end of the first one.

But this seemed "Too Much Work" so the progress stopped. Todaty, I always wanted to play the second part of this game.

Well Im a big fan of hl1. But this mod is awsome. Guys you cant play the mod from hl1. You need to make a folder and then you can play it. Maybe you should install sven-coop and then make the folder from there. The aliens will attack you.....after something goes wrong xD. Im stuck at zoology 6!!! I cant pass it there. Im almost to the top but I cant go there it is too hard. I beat all the aliens. But what do I do next? pls help me

I think it is only for the sierra edition for the game.

P.S. I think you have to replace something in the half-life folder. I may be wrong because I have not played/installed this mod in awhile. Any other questions that you have can be answered in the read me file with the mod.
