  • thx for sharing scotty. great stuff again

  • James was a regular at Carlos O'Briens in the I E . Great stuff but he needs to get a hair cut and lose the beard

  • he made it all the way to Hawaii...I'll never forget it. James and his band define soul and groove.

He sings and plays like no other, and his band is goin along for the ride.

    DAMN GOOD< eh?

  • Used to run into James at the Mailboxes place on Warner in Huntington Beach all the time, In the late 80's he'd come over to my garage and listen to records, have a few brews and talk about record hunting in the South in the 60's.One of the nicest guys, best damn harp player alive and a friend I miss now I am in the frozen mountainous wilds of north-eastern Oregon. Keepin it real and alive!!!

  • @DancingOwl Same thing my brother said about Paul Delay! Sounds like you live in "Delay" country. Saw him yrs ago when he was just 22. He was on fire. Hair slicked back and blew that harp up and low down. May he rest in peace. The blues will keep you warm from that snow. Real!

  • Don't think he has ever been to the UK (where I am) but have all his stuff on import and they are/he is da blooze!!!

  • Saw him & his band at the 100 club london approx 12 years ago - best gig i've ever seen since william clarke at the same venue

  • @Sortedfella

He certainly has been to the UK. I saw him at the Mean Fiddler around 1993.

  • Yup, James Harmon is an undiscovered by most)gem. Saw him a few times at the Palamino in North Hollywood in the day. Think he also played with Mick Taylor once or am I mixing up my shows? Anyways, both guys could make it happen.

  • i love it ,james is the best

  • fuckin a, Harman on youtube, nice! Many a drunken night I spent doing the By Yourself Dance at Harman gigs when I lived in Long Beach in the 90s. I worked with Jeff Thurmes bro, had a second job at a music store, Stephen Hodges was buds with the manager so he came by a lot. Had Joel as a customer for awhile. Mostly for strings but I'll take it, got to talk with him quite a bit. That guy f-cking smokes!

  • Harman is THE shit!

  • Damn. James is ounding good here.

  • Thanks for posting! Joel Foy is the guitar king of shuffles like this.

  • wow thank god for youtube and all you guys who feed it! oh yeah........

  • Great stuff. Harman is great.

  • Nice to hear James wail on an on and on....He plays with such passion and creativity!

Among the few out there. I saw him when he came to Hawaii.he played at good ole R&B's Sand Island.

About 20 yrs ago....eeeek! How time flies!

    What a show!

  • Joel Foy on Clark's "Rockin' The Boat" (particularly All About My Girl) and "Tip of the Top" is about as good as it gets imho.

  • Great. Harman is 100% as always!! Joel Foy is a awesome guitarist! Thanx for this one!
