Honestly, I think the Daytrotter Session version of the song is leagues better. The album version feels really rushed. On the Daytrotter Session they take their time and really build up to the end of the song and turn the whole latter half of the song into an amazing crescendo. This version isn't bad but the Daytrotter Session I legitimately think is one of the best songs of all time.

@forgeofrage really? interesting - when I heard the Daytrotter session I was excited to hear the energy from the song played live, but I found it rather underwhelming. I guess the appeal to me on the recording is that by the end of it, you sort of lose your mind. It feels like a merry-go-round-gone-wrong. They did the same for Apollo & the Buffalo, from Dragonslayer. I hate to say it but I wished there was more of that brilliant cacophony and less boring buildups in some of those live renditions
