That's an interesting use for a turtle. I used to have a turtle named Mike who would get into the corner of a room, and then start climbing straight up to the ceiling. He would usually make it too and then just hang there. I would have to get a chair to get him back down.

@TerrellV13 Yep. If your turtle is a 3-toed box tortoise and you have wooden walls so he has enough traction for his nails to dig in. However, Mike was an exceptional climber. My other turtles would never get up beyond a foot or so.  Also, the only turtles I've ever had that did climb were 3-toed box tortoises. Neither my red-eared sliders, nor my alligator snapping turtle would climb at all.
