@Rooney021 I have an advice which is really important in my opinion. Look for a "mentor" in your real world! internet is not the right place for mentoring someone. Go into a church or something and look for a (perhaps older) person to talk from face to face. Other ways doesn't work in my experience.

@Rooney021 I'm not personally a christian any more (issues with OT massacres), but have a lot of respect and liking for many of the liberal Christian groups (Quakers, Methodists, Anglicans, United Reformed etc). It may help to join a group that's big on 'good works', one friend volunteers at a local chuch-hosted homeless shelter, other friends with Church Action on Poverty. Even if you're not xtian trying to make the world a better place for everyone makes a lot of people personally happier!
