  • thanks for your kind and oh so thoughtful comment Arizona Joe. have a nice day.

  • Hi, Joe. You're quite the rude asshole, aren't you?

  • I registered to vote soon after I graduated from high school. Like I tell people, if you don't vote and are able to, then you have no right to complain.

  • Registration is not the only hurdle to voting.

  • is there an age limit for "young people"? i'm almost 21... but i do care!

  • that is young! in political research the "youth" are generally anyone under 30.

hope to see a video response from you! :-)

  • Thank you for this video It made me feel motivated, i'm only 14 but i'm looking for ways to get involved!

  • post a video response if you get a chance ;-)

  • But I'm 49 years old!

  • Ava, this is a great idea! I will forward to others and post on my myspace page.

    - rightiswrong :)

  • I think the world of you, Ava, and always have. But try not to see the "older people" as the enemy. We're really not.

    B.

  • see my post below.. i never said anything at all about "older people" being the enemy.. as a matter of fact i made no reference to anyone other than youth in the video.

the object of this project is for politically active youth to come together and prove that there are many of us out there! we are judged collectively as concerned with pop culture an other things rather than current events and politics. i believe that accusation and judgment is a wrong one and i'm setting out to prove it wrong.

  • I guess I can't be involved, since I'm no longer a "youth"... even though I was once, Ava -- and I've NEVER forgotten, not for one damned minute.

Damn it sucks to not count anymore. It really, really SUCKS.

  • of course you still count!

it is just that the object of this project is for politically active youth to come together and prove that there are many of us out there! we are judged collectively as concerned with pop culture an other things rather than current events and politics. i believe that accusation and judgment is a wrong one and i'm setting out to prove it wrong.

    ;-)
