I'm about 5'0 or 5'2. pretty short. Almost 13. Ye i do some small bombing on the one high point in the place i live but that's about it. except for parking garages. mostly i like to carve, a little slide, but my favorite of all is hitting banks and fun stuff like that.

for banks, garages, carving, sliding, flip tricks, apex is the way to go. i found that although the dervish enables the rider to progress with ease, and so does the apex, but with the apex it can range from a complete beginner board to a completely advanced board. i think the apex is better than the dervish, even though the derv is a great board.

they always seemed easier for me when I was shorter

Yea i have a friend that's twice my size that long boards with me a lot. I seem to do tech tricks with alot more ease. especially with shorter boards.

well I think height is a big part of it really seeing as you are 5'0 you should go with the apex. No offense to jake but look at how awkward his tiger claws are on the dervish. But, they're much cleaner on the apex. I'm 5'6-5'7 so I like the dervish better and a bomb a lot. But really the Dervish's length will hinder more than add you.

so get that Apex
