The car was owned by DeLorean in Northern Ireland. I have paperwork to prove this. It was registered directly to DeLorean at Dunmurry and is the first owner. The car was ordered by DeLorean to Alpine, through Renault headquarters in Paris.
The engine was the 2849cc Volvo PRV, but without the US emissions system, so instead of the puny 130hp that the DMC-12 had, mine has the full 190hp.
i dont think that it was owned by DMC . the only common thing was the PRV engine which was taken from Peaguot/Renault/Volvo cars . DMC got independent from GM . it has nothing to do with Renault.
