Agreed on the "making love" line. Always thought that that line was cringe worthy, so I like the change you guys did.
thanks! the verse was cut because the director had a philosophy that too much of a ballad bores the audience, so he tended to chop them up to make them shorter. oh well!
and thanks for the compliment about the change on the "making love" line - that i definitely agreed with :)
can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, but yes, we did change it, because we thought that the line sounded awkward and would get unwanted laughs because of that...we figured the integrity of the scene was worth expending a tiny, tiny bit of Lerner's book.
