  • i have a easy version plz watch

  • Klasse!

  • o:

  • Good job on this horse.

  • also it looks like the horse has the proportions of an overgrown foal!

  • It's awesome but he walks like a robot. Put more weight into the legs and shoulders and some of the back-end. When i animate, I love looking at Glen Keane's animations first. He's a wizard.

  • Great animation, what framerate did you animate at?

  • And the head and neck need to bob, not nod, but otherwise, very nice!

  • in wich program do you use to animate the draws... and cool job!!!!

  • Nice work!

  • you go to my favorites list!

  • Cool! I think the shoulder and head should move more tho...

  • Back legs should be half a stride ahead of the front legs if the front legs start astride

If your entire cycle is 24 frames then the back legs should 6 frames out of phase with the front..

  • Aye, there's not enough bob to the head or weight to the body. Needs more weight shift. Good work tho. Quadrupeds are difficult.

  • The legs seem a little long, but I think this looks great. He kinda looks like he's hanging his head a little :p

  • i like this but the legs should be in a certain motion, cuz a real horse would trip walking like that

  • Great animation. Maybe let the head move around more independently from the body, I think it would be great if it lifted his head to shake his hair.

  • how do you do that

  • The horses body seems to short. And the front legs kinda seem like they should be lifted a little more.

  • lol Yes,

  • How did u do this? What program did u use?

    Awesome :D

  • the front half is too stiff or sationary. give it a bit more up and down. the walk is positioned great, but with that type of walk there would be more up and down on the parts. great job :) horses are kinda hard because their gait changes so often.

  • Great Animation!

  • AWESOME animation

  • great animation, but the back leg looks off. It gets thin way too abruptly.

  • wow! cool , but it needs to be colourful it will be nice

  • It doesnt walk like an elephant

  • @amberc4614 what u on about?

  • @amberc4614 id doens't walk like an elephant! :\

  • you know what would be more fucking awesomer? if you could fucking draw a horse walking like a gorilla. that would be A+, bitch.

  • I like it for the most part. The leg and hind quarters are good, but i think the chest and neck need a bit of movement too? Too late to go change it now I suppose but just for future reference :)

  • well.. the horse was kinda slow and looked like black buetey's friend in the movie just before she died.... beat down and broken... but it was WAY better then anything i could do. And I usally resuerve that comment for somone else. aka Jhonen Vasquez. any way worth watchin, gonna rate it five stars!

  • Of course it's slow, it's fucking walking.

  • nice ligament details, very precis movements, steady beat/rhythm, ALL AROUND PERFECT!!! AWESOME!

  • SWEET JESUS THIS IS GOOD

  • i probably don't know anything and you did a way better job than i ever could. But he looks a little disproportional

  • the body should ascend and descend slightly but that goes just like a helicopter with legs of a horse. but your sketch is cool

  • Very nice ! It's way cool ^_^

  • who program you used?

  • that is awesome

  • great .x.

  • Great walk! Was this made in computer on by hand?

  • I can tell that by looking at the left that he drew these by hand and then put them into the computer. This is a rough animation. Ive done this before. So what you do is take some animation paper(or printer like 11X14 paper and punch in the peg holes manually) and draw each frame of motion onto them. Then you take a program such as Monkey Jam and shoot your animation using a webcam, scanner, camcorder, or a digital camera. Finally you adjust the timing of those frame you shot and your done ^_^

  • I would visit the Monkey Jam site for more info on computer requirements and tools(has camera specifics) you need. Its giantscreamingrobotmonkeys dotcom The program is free to use! And its also used for stop motion as well ^_^ For anyone out there reading this..be especially attentive to how you animate so you make it believable as well as having a nice flow -_^! Good luck!

  • Got to try it sometimes! :)

  • Yup! Its waaaay cool AND fun ^_^! I knew all of that because Im currently majoring in animation. But this can also be done on the computer too. Like say..if you like Flash. You can take the frames you drew....scan them...and put them into Flash and animate it ^_^! Havent tried that method yet lol but I knew someone who did just that -_^!

  • Good luck for your studies! (Not that you need it... You have a gift.)

I have done some Flash animations, but I don`t think they are this good. :p

  • you r really good! that is soooooooooooooooo cool!

  • It looks ...... skleletual lol

  • I like that the tail sways and seperates.

  • kooooooolllll i like it!

  • horses walk with a longer neck and sway their head from side to side...

  • Great work

  • must say something..the ideea is great but a horse doesnt walk like an elephant...if u watch the animation u will see that this is exactly how that horse walks...and is not correct...but still is a very nice animation

  • Maybe I'm just not sure what you mean by walking "like an elephant" but this actually is exactly how a horse walks as well. Some horses walk more pace-like -- meaning their lateral legs move almost at the same time -- but more on the diagonal like this is standard. The only thing I find less realisitic about this animation is that the neck should be bobbing slightly and the back would move a little bit. Otherwise, beautiful!

  • @vulpicica I agree with how it looks like an elephant walk.

  • @vulpicica It's an 'alternative' horse

  • great

  • First of all - message to TFHM67 - it was more than simply 'cool'. Do you know how long these things take to create! Anyway, brilliant bit of animation. I had to do a horse walk 2D for one of my multimedia modules. Took forever to draw. Seeing this really takes me back. 5*. Are you a media student or just did it for fun?

  • it was ok

  • wow thats really cool

  • Oh this is nice, the legs are long, but it looks good that way XD I would love to see you do a animated running horse!!!

  • that is amazing! keep up the great work!

  • nice

  • can you make it run?

  • pretty cool! really long legs though haha

  • horses with long legs are AWESOME.

  • WOW!

  • well done, all you need to do is to make it longer and put it to music

  • Great

  • Pretty coo,pretty coo!

  • Oh my gosh this is amazing!!!!

  • wow great job! 5/5!

  • GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice. I like the severe angles and dark lines.

  • very nice

  • this is amazing. i love how the horse is drawn
