wouldn't you have to change the slicks after those runs? I took my slicks off for my dyno tune cause was told they'll melt from the the heat produced?
@xStealthxSniperx srs are for guys that dont want to spend the money rebuilding their kas for 20lbs of boost...kas are great when they're done right i.e. this vid, but a sr is far from a pussy motor, just look at all the professional drifters that use them...
@mmmurmomspie Their both great engines, as are most Nissan engines. KA's weren't build factory for boost, so they cost more to build to safely handle boost, but they have more end potential, since they have 0.4L more displacement stock, and a cast block doesn't hurt either. It's just a cool thought having a ka-t, since they are honestly way under rated and not very common. I know damn near 10 people running sr's but not a single ka-t.
@JDMFairladyZ32 its the exact opposite here in Tennessee. i had a ka but it threw a rod...runnin 9lbs with 230k miles on it lol no rebuild :D too much boost for that many miles... you must be on the coast?
nice ka sr's suck! i dont understand why people would ever want to put in a small engine then stock? lol boost it and tune it!!

Baller. People that cry about how many times youve blown a KA-t motor is because you fail at tuning and or the shop that did it for you.
