  • I live not too far away from Maxwellton Braes. This is a great rendition of this favourite Scottish song, so too is their rendition of "Auld Lang Syne" - which is sung as as composed by Robert Burns.

  • @1952410 It was a weekly thing for my family (parents & 7 kids) to sing along with the gang. We sang all the time. We didn't have money or things, but we sure had music! I grew up with all of these songs and now I can share with my grandkids. Thanks for posting this and thanks to all who have remembered Mitch Miller. I have a tear in my eyes remembering Dad, Mom, and this music...
