@whitemachine I know, and there's virtually fuck all like it anymore. So few political references in contemporary music, Heaven17 were exceptional, but still...
Basia Trzetrzelewska of Poland (former Matt Bianco's singer) gave the voice to KUP TO (BUY THIS / KAUFEN SIE DIESE) and PODPISZ TU (SIGN HERE / UNTERZEICHEN SIE DIESE). About the Latina language that have been spoken in here I cannot say anything... sorry.
still got my 12"of this.one of their best.thanks for uploading.seems these old somgs are ever known for use in modern programmes, which is a real shame.this so reminds me of wales,in a caravan, when i was a kid, lol.brilliant band along with numan and kraftwerk.masters of electro.may theire music be played forever.
This as an ident for CNNfn or Bloomberg? That would be the legendary American inability to understand irony that I've heard so much about.
Just to be clear - "Let's All Make A Bomb" isn't pro-nuclear proliferation, and "We're Going To Live For A Very Long Time" isn't actually sung in many churches.
Althouhg the beat is based on Kraftwerk's Trans Europa(e) Express, Heaven 17 made a splendid tune in here. You can also compare the Chemical Brothers' "Hey Boy, Hey Girl" to this one.
These guys spit from human league because they wanted to do this sort of thing, Phil oakley wanted to be more abba, Both were successful, Both had huge albums, 2 great bands from 1
I don't know CNNfn, nor do I know Bloomberg, but this could definitely be the intro music to Capitalism for Cuba (YES you can!)... That would fit better, doesn't it?
CNNfn and Bloomberg are both financial themed news channels here in America, that was why I would think a song like "I'm your money" would make a perfect match with those TV channels, as they both cover the stock markets and financial news.
Still my favourite song of H17 which brings back many memories of great nights on the dancefloor. And the pronounciation of the German speech samples are really cool. :-)
Great tune, even greater outro!

@canyonmom27 They were, definitely, and they're still very good. Glenn Gregory's excellent voice is a massive plus, also.

I love this track
I would say that Computerworld by Kraftwerk was a big influence here although both albums were released in 1981

This song should be used as the intro music to segments on CNNfn or Bloomberg channel. It fits, does it not?

Yes, but unfortunately the German speech samples are a little wrong pronounced. I guess they were spoken by an English guy. Stimmt doch oder?
Davaris122 3 years ago 3
Exactly, gut erkannt.... it was probably an English guy trying out the German language... but it sounds really cool... kaufen Sie diesa! :-)
