I HATED Underoos! Even at age SEVEN I knew this was a TERRIBLE idea! My AUNT got me the Spiderman pair in 1981 and I refused to wear them and got ALL embarrassed when I saw them! My mom asked why and I said because I wasn't going to run around in my UNDERWEAR like the commercial suggested! Plus I thought they were DORKY! I remember some kid wore them to school and you could see the RED underwear sticking out the top of his pants (I guess he had "The Flash" pair!) and everyone made fun of him!

I can't see a commercial like this running nowadays. My, how times have changed.
