By the way, this is from NewsCenter 4 - the local NBC affiliate in New York City - and the anchor introducing the piece is the still on the air Chuck Scarborough. I know the graphic had all those "5"s, but trust me, it was Channel 4 WNBC.
Wow, cool posting! I've always wondered about this show; I met David Brenner very briefly in 1980, but never thought to ask him about it-DOH!
He was a very funny man, and may very well still be one, but whereas I used to see him frequently on TV in the '70s, I've rarely seen him since. except in "The Aristocrats." Thanks again for posting.
