  • I find your investigations fascinating. I think you should leave a gift of small bells. Since they whistle they might love bells or maybe a flute. Just a thought but if they took the gift with them then you could then hear them.

  • Glad I watched the video untill the end . When you put that flower on the rock my first thought was give them something of yours . Mint is good for colds to .

  • yea Sasquats realy uses garlic and stuff for mosquitos!

  • You should take some local fruits and leave them where the mint was.. Sounds like its trying to teach you in some form. But I would leave him a gift in return.

  • I'm not laughing. I think you do good work, especially the way you leave things set up a certain way and then come back later to see if there are any changes. Did the internet article you found say that the Indians used the mint in that way? Or was it some later discovery?

  • When I smelled the plant it had a "minty" smell, so I googled "wild mint" and matched the picture with the leafs I had, then I just read what is uses were, the top use after flavoring was insect repellent. This I found on several sites. It is native to the Appalachian Mountains where I am researching. Both Indians and early settlers used it as an insect repellant.

  • They are amazing creatures. I often think they are smarter than humans. Great work!!!

  • Scott, we're gonna have to hang out sometime when I start drivin and gettin into heavy researchin cuz I need to get out and start doin some research. I haven't had the time to get out or the license to drive out lol.

  • Great video Scott. You are establishing a respectful relationship with these creatures and it's paying off. I'm actually envious of you. I hope it continues for you.

  • That is so cool, why wouldn,t they be as intelligent as we are?, they,ve avoided contact with us for thousands of years, which must have been a concious decision, and who can blame them !

  • I can see several of them in this video, Amazing! how they can hide and be right beside you, humans use Camo hats, clothing with trees and leaves on them to hide, they use the real trees and leaves to do so, they probably think that we look pretty darn funny with the camo gear trying to mimic them, I'm sure they wonder why we dress the way we do anyway.

    Thanks,

    LadyHawke

  • I agree with you, they were watching you, then gave you a gift of natural bug spray, one of many things they use, I'm sure we could learn a great deal from these creatures. maybe they have a cure for cancer? who knows.

    Thanks,

    LadyHawke

  • Thanks

  • @LadyHawke01 my dog rolls in mint and catnip to get rid of any fleas, I never have to flea dip him.

  • That's great Scott. It's better to have the big monkeys on your side than the other way around.

  • looks like you have a friend there scott. hope you can go back and trade more gifts with them.

  • me too, thanks

  • What a big idiot you are...JUST KIDDING 100%. That's great Scott and I am glad that happened to you. I don't doubt you at all. Based on what we both know, these guys are thinkers and people. Great account.

  • Thanks, I was kinda in shock when i found it, and the more I thought about it the more mind blowing it was..

  • Wow Scott, that's fantastic! This clan of Squatch trust you. Keep it up.

    Take care,

    Stevesquatch

  • Thanks, I hope their is more interaction

  • do you plan on putting a trailcam in this area? might even work to put it out on your way in and then pick it up on your way out. that way, you wouldnt have to leave it out there and you could also see if anything happens while your gone like the feather and the mint. good luck.

  • Hi Scott your a very lucky man to have a encounter like this..it means to me you have been excepted in to there world...very lucky indeed.i think you have made some new freinds buddy

  • Thanks

  • Highly interesting. I can't wait until I get to start exchanging stuff with them. It should be soon!

    Good Job, Scott!

    Keep rocking out there!!

These animals are nice guys. My Fiance and myself have come into close contact without knowing it until reviewing photo's, There were young and adults. We were left alone, to go about our business.

  • Thanks!

  • Good work Scott. This just proves you are gentle spirit. They already trust you. Its nice you are wearing the feather but you must never use modern bug spray again out there. You can buy concentrated mint oil at the health food store. This will ward off bugs and disguise your scent..I would press the plant flat between waxed paper and then use a warm iron to preserve it. Next time leave some garlic bulbs. This is also a bug repellent that bf like. 10/10

  • Thanks, sometimes I think I am more of a "simpleton" so they feel sorry for me..lol Yes I plan on preserving it, I am going to ask a friend in Bigfoot research that has access to DNA labs etc if there would be any value in testing for dna, I doubt there was any transfer unless they put it in their mouths but I thought i would ask.
