I have only seen the first page of comments on this video, and it appalls me that people are still referring to Tony Blair as a war criminal and that the Iraqis "chose" their way of life under the tyrant Saddam Hussein. Such opinions are based upon pure ignorance, plain and simple. I, for one, am happy that yet another tyrant was taken down and had to pay for his crimes; those of you who wish to paint Misters Blair and Bush as "imperialists" need to review the facts. As part of the 'essential' relationship between the UK and the US, the UK side of the deal is to follow the US into war. If anyone, George Bush is the war criminal. Tony Blair was a good Prime Minister, but he's now being penalised for a decision that wasn't his own (although the Iraq war positives outweigh the negatives anyway).

The UN's - which, we kept being told, was what Bush and Blair should have gone through.

So no war AND no sanctions? In other words, give Saddam all he wanted.

Saddam was overthrown in a matter of weeks - the subsequent decision to make Iraq ungovernable was made, not by the Iraqi people, but the so-called 'insurgents' who claimed to represent them.

What Blair said in regards to the Iraqi children dying under Saddam, if the U.S. and Britain had of allowed western medicines into Iraq, that would have cut those numbers down hugely. Just on that why didn't the U.S. and U.K. invade Burma or Zimbabwae or Congo to stop tyranny and deaths of civilians. Simple answer there wasn't any oil and they didn't threaten Israel. It is not a coincidence that Blair's memoirs and his tours around the world are released now when all media outlets boast about the war in Iraq being over (which isn't anywhere close to the truth). The true purpose behind it is to cover the original lie of Bush and Blair and their true motive behind the war (Iraqi oil), which cost Iraqi people thousands of lives.

He didnt "take that decision" with Saddam, that he claims here. He said early on that Saddam could stay in power if he gave up his Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD's), meaning if Saddam never had any WMD's he could stay in power. So Blair/Bush invade, it turns out Saddam never had any WMD's, then Blair says it was worth it to get rid of Saddam. This proves Blair is a lier and that he pretends that differnt things were in the thinking than really were. He changed the criteria, and he's a bad man.
