Having trouble with the laser shutting off when the gun fires AGAIN (second laser). I called smith and wesson and was put on hold while being told every 3 minutes that "a customer service agent would be with me shortly" then, after 55 minutes I was told to call back later and disconnected. words can't describe how posed off I am right now.
I bought one for my wife, but after 1 month the laser shut off after each shot.
I have been trying to get the replacement from S&W since 11/25/11 & they won't return my emails, phone calls or faxes...
I'm sorry to rain on this parade, but I'd get the Ruger LCP with the "reflex button" that comes on the moment you grab the grip insated of this hard to push side & front button plus, S&W shitty customer service.
@dgl1962 Sorry to hear that, my wife loves hers and we go to the range twice a week and have had no issues. Looked at the Ruger ,but S&W felt like better quality.
Thanks for the review. I just purchased the BG380 two weeks ago. My only complaint was that the buttons to activate the laser were hard to use; however, I contacted S&W customer support, who sent me new buttons within three days. The new buttons work perfectly now. IMHO, the BG 380 is one of the best looking guns in its class, and has a great price (MSRP is $399). I like the fact that it locks open on last round and has the integrated laser.
@tracel2000 oh yea this gun is great i just got mine the other day and i just cant get over how nice it is and i got mine for 299 !! brand new you just cant beat that deal for all u get love it ! the only prob i have is i gotta get use to the take down
Love it and nearly bought one last week when I first saw them but went ahead and bought the gun I went for to start with,,a baby browning nickel plated with pearl handles and gold trigger and its a sweet heart & beauty from 1966,,,I already have a colt mustang 380 about this size or smaller so I really dont need one but think the next gun I buy will bethis gun,,the smith 380 body gaurd and trust me a 380 will knock the hell out of someone and would stop a bear at close range no doubt ,,thanks.

@LerdoBurgerPimp The funny thing is, she prefers her S&W over my Ruger!
She says (rightly so) that the Ruger jumps a little more when fired.
Either way, I'm happy that she now legally carries here in FL whenever she rides a bike or we walk in parks.
I do prefer the Glock .45 (G36) for concealed carry, but sometimes it's too big.
