  • Like the music.... Is the new albumen out soon?

  • Very clever, smarty pants ;-)

  • is your family all veggay?

  • No, I'm a veggie/borderline vegan (not quite there yet with eggs being in Quorn) but the family eat meat. If we do a family meal though, we use Quorn mince or pieces to make lasagne, bologneses, curries etc...rather than a meaty one for every one else, we all have the same which they enjoy. When they are older, I'm happy to let them choose as my parents did for me.

  • your birds look very happy and healthy:)

your vid has inspired me to get some ex-battery hens too:)

  • Great, well if you are in the UK, try Little Hen Rescue and also Hen Rehomers UK who in my opinion are the best rehoming groups. My hens look even better as they've recently had some Apple Cider Vinegar during a moult and they now look the best they ever have.

Little Hen Rescue have a rescue Easter Weekend (2009) if anyone is interested.

  • Nice one!

They look like they've put on plenty of weight since you 'liberated' them. There are a few good chicken recipes on youtube as well.

  • Wicked hairy bog trotter.....anyway I'm a veggie. I eat Quorn instead. Couldn't bear to eat a chook when they're such good pets.....Then again I don't eat eggs either but that's only cos I don't like them. My other half and kids are egg fiends.

  • Great what you are doing, please visit the forum on my profile
