Waylon passed away 10 years ago today february 13th, 2002
He left a legacy of writing and preforming songs that nobody else could. A talent which helped form the outlaw country movement in the 1970s. There will never another Waylon Jennings and his passing ten years ago left a permanent mark in country music.
Waylon we all miss you, and your good 'ol songs will live forever as some of the best songs and music that the world has ever witnessed in modern time.

The best there ever was -Waylon Jennings, a one of a kind and THE honky tonk hero! This is REAL country music!!! Missed a lot -play him all the time!!
type in Waylon - Renegade Outlaw Legend into amazon's website. it'll come up with the autobiography video with the concert included as a bonus on the disc.
i met him thirty years ago at a david allen coe concert where he wasn't even listed to play but came out and did a couple of toons. I was right up front in culpeper 15 y/o and blind on everclear. i was knocking around so much i was pissing off the bikers. he looked directly at me and tipped his hat. He kept me from getting a severe ass whipping that day with that one look. i was 15

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!! I'm gonna have to quit sneaking peeks of Waylon at work. He's making me feel too damn good to be here. I think I need to play hookie and go kick up my heel a little bit (and play Waylon while I'm having fun)!
Dear Lord, You can have Justin Beiber, The Jonas brothers, and every raper( except Kid Rock, well you can have his rap talent for Waylon ,johnny and Hank.
These audiences at these classic country shows are dissapointing, they all look like zombies. Put me at this show and I'm hammered drunk w all my friends hootin and hollerin dancin up a storm. You'd think these outlaw jams would bring a more rowdy individual to the venues but I ain't pickin up on it. Any older ppl out there have any insight?
@BadNewzBraves back in the day we had respect and didn't get stupid drunk at concerts and be asses to the ppl around us, we sat down and enjoyed the show like civilized ppl
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE FREAKING HAWW! Waylon Jenings I'd give away everything I've ever had that was good to me and all MY guitar talent just to hear you play live one more time. I sure do miss you Hoss >
It's kinda funny how ol Waylon was so much better than everybody else . Not just his music but his style too a true American icon. Long live the outlaw. RIP WAYLON
@rc57061 soesn't get much better than this. Moon on the steel is just wonderful and people tend to forget that Waylon was not only good looking, a great singer, but quite an accomplished guitar player. Kristofferson has said that Waylong was the best C & W singer ever. I couldn't agree more. He was just beyond the pale. sj
i think ill grow a bread...because it looks like my god is sporting one...you are missed
