Mr. Butler is the sound of my youth. I loved this man. I met a store owner that works close to where Mr. Butler lives and I live close by too. Mr. Butler is doing great and did a very nice favor for the store owner. I always knew those Butlers were good people. You never heard a bad thing about them.

I believe it was on the Okeh Label in early 64 but that is all I remember.

Bought this 45 new in early 64, I was 19. Listened to KDIA Lucky 13, San Francisco Bay Area. Finding this today on Youtube.....I'm young again! Great tune. Thanks so much for posting this!!

Thank you for posting this song! I first heard this song in 1964. I believe that Billy Butler is the brother of legendary singer, Jerry Butler. He recorded a lot of great songs in the 1960's!
