in "The manifestation of Neo-Plasticism in Music and the Italian Futurists' Buiteurs' "
this essay had a huge impact on early serialism, and certainly he was not thinking to this music, which by the way has nothing to do with mondrian theories..
I'm sorry to say this, but this video is very misleading

I have little doubt that Mondrian 'heard' his paintings. The titles of some of his later works, like 'Bradwan Boggie Woogie' reveal that he was consciously making images that represented combinations of sound, or songs.
