1=> Bhagat Kabir Ji was a poet of soulful renderings and not "Veer Rus"!! There is no way Bhagat Kabir Ji would have written such an adrenalin charged hymn whose sole intention is to motivate someone to fight, that is, fight evil, whether inside or outside in the world!!
2=> Don't be mislead or confused by people whose intention is to infect and dilute Sikhism and it's tenants by the way of mis-information!!
Shri Kabir Ji fought the evil in the society by writing such verses of immense spiritual upliftment. His verses are not just meant for his personal fight against any evil inside him but a spiritual guide for the whole society to fight the evil whether inside the individuals or in the outside world.
Fighting doesn't neccessarily have to be violent with bloodshed. Social awakening, identifying the bad and then replacing it with good can be very peaceful.
Bro, when the evil that exists inside a person is accentuated by the power of position in society, it spills out into the society. The fight then cannot be restricted to a fight within oneself. No individual who fights to change himself by overpowering the evil within but does nothing to fight the evil that exists in the society can get eternal peace in life or peace after death. That person can only be classified as selfish.
This is a hymn composed by Bhagat Kabir Ji. Please refer to page 1105 of the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. In this hymn, Kabir Ji is not talking about wars between people but wars between good and evil. Kabir Ji wants us to fight the evil inside us that is taking us away from God. Kabir Ji is a mystic poet. No one should give literal interpretation to his hymns.
Wikipedia states that bhagat Kabir died in 1518 and states shri guru gobind singh was born in 1666. i know wikipedia is not accurate but it cant be a century off
and the shabad is about war which your translations in the messgae box point out
why would kabir say that? kabir only talks about God, if you dont believe me you can research the internet and it will state the same.There is some movement of muslims going on all over youtube which state kabir influenced all of Guru Granth Sahib ji
@SIKH4LIF3 I agree with your contention that this Shabad is by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Infact the version by Bhai Joginder Singh Riaar also mentions the same. But I am not sure about it.

Now I am no authority on religion so I would stay mum on this subject until someone came gives me the right answer. So just altering my description to suit the same. Hope nobody minds it. Sword is only meant to be used when all other means of redressing a wrong have failed.
You cannot sing hymns for fighing evil inside when there is a tyrant dictator murdering people or crushing them socio-economically.
Hymns will not win the evil inside when the whole society's moral structure is fragmenting.
What worth is victory over internal evil when businessmen and politicians make sure every ordinary man is no more than a slave?
