@TurboVonCrim You have to get lucky. We always ski regardless of what the weather is doing, because we have driven so far to get there and we only get a few days a year to go. The time before this - it was just a blizzard all weekend. You couldn't see more than 5 metres in any direction.
@my35Xvision They have been making snow to top up the natural snowfalls for years now. They start making snow as soon as it's cold enough. It helps the season last as long as possible. We don't get the snow depth that they have overseas.
@floydstinkyboy You could. But it's a 7 hour drive there for me (and 7 back) so it would be a loooooong day. A weekend is better but a week is ideal. I normally allow a day either side for driving.

what a nice sunny day for a ski eh? is this something you can do in a day then head back down to home?
